   "Aramaic?" Audrey repeated in confusion.

Tyler wore the same look, glancing toward his girlfriend. "What's Aramaic?"

"It's a dead language." Caroline said slowly. "It hasn't been used since, like, biblical times."

"Qetsiyah's native tongue, I'm guessing." Klaus continued with a nod, perching himself on the edge of the table like he was before. "You know, even if you had the best dictionary in the world, it could take days to translate. Perhaps weeks. "In bas so-teen-too ara-ma-eet."" His smirk tugged at the corner of his lips.

Caroline blinked. "What does that mean?"

Audrey saw the grin that appeared on the Originals face, and sighed knowingly. Seeing she'd caught on, Klaus just began to grin even wider. "Roughly?" She glanced at her friend. "If only you spoke Aramaic."

Despite not knowing any Aramaic, Tyler and Caroline used her laptop to start trying to decipher the map. Paper was spread across the coffee table, covered in different Aramaic symbols and what they'd managed to translate them to, the blonde shuffling them into a certain order in front of them.

"Okay, this is it. We've translated all the symbols on the tattoo." Caroline clears her throat as she reads their rough translation.  ""Passage inside...requires a young senator, and a pretty flower."" She threw her hands up in irritation. "Okay, none of this makes sense."

Audrey glances at Klaus, who watched Caroline for a moment before speaking. "Requires a powerful witch and a hunter in full bloom." He corrected.

Tyler looked at him in confusion. "What are you doing?"

"I don't need to tell you my reasons." The Original brushed him off, looking directly at the Forbes girl. "Caroline. Bring my sword over here."

Hesitating for a moment, Caroline grabs the sword and brings it as close to the barrier as she could, allowing Klaus to read the cryptex. ""Silas rests on the far side, the means of his destruction at hand."" He glances at the pictures of Jeremy's tattoo on the computer screen. "Turn the cryptex to the right." Caroline obliges. "Stop. The top of the hilt reveals a key to a nautical map. Turn it to the left." She turns it. "Now turn the other piece." She does, as a look none of them could place appeared on his face as he looked at it. "There's something else."

The Gilbert girl watched him carefully, noticing the hints of a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. He knew something, something he wasn't going to say. And that was made clear as Caroline raised a brow at him. "What does it mean?" Klaus stays silent and simply smiles at her. "Klaus, what does it mean?"

"Klaus?" Audrey said, her curiosity getting the better of her.

"Nothing." He brushed off simply. "Nothing at all."

Caroline bit her lip, before moving to sit back down beside Tyler, pulling out her phone to call someone. Within a few seconds, Rebekah's voice came through the speaker on her phone. "Hello?"

"Hey, it's Caroline." The Forbes girl answered. "We have the translation of the tattoo. We're emailing you pictures of the map and instructions right now."

"Got it." Rebekah said after a moment. "Thanks."

"Actually, it was me." Klaus piped up.

"Nik?" Rebekah said in disbelief. "You helped?"

"You sound so surprised, little sister." He mused.
