After his attempt to kill Rebekah the night before, Kol was nowhere to be found, along with the white oak stake and the rest of the daggers. He was determined to not to let anyone wake Silas, and was making sure there was nothing to stop him from doing that. Klaus, however, had a plan. Knowing Rebekah had kept hold of her dagger after the last time he used it on her, he enlisted Stefan's help to get it back off of her, so he could use it and the ash he had left on Kol. While Audrey didn't approve of the plan, she knew there wasn't many other options. Not if she wanted to keep Jeremy safe. She called to check in on him, and he assured her that he was fine, on lockdown at the house with Elena and Matt.

So, when Klaus asked for her help watching Damon for the day, she decided to agree. With Kol not invited into the Gilbert house, Jeremy was safe there for the moment, and focus could be on solving the situation before it got worse. She hadn't told Elijah what was going on, and she didn't plan to. The last thing she wanted to do was worry him, and have him in town with Kol acting so recklessly. He was safer in New York, and as long as she kept her neckless on, she wasn't in any danger.

"Move." She kicked Damon lightly, making him roll his eyes before he sat up on the cell bed, moving so she could sit down beside him.

Stefan had left her and Klaus to it, leaving them with small vials of blood to give Damon, and instructions to snap his neck if needed. She grabbed the ball from his hand, throwing it at the wall and catching it with ease.  "That's mine." He frowned, grabbing it as she went to catch it again.

"You know, none of this would be an issue if you'd have just done your job properly." Klaus piped up, leaning against the wall in front of them. "I was perfectly willing to let you train Jeremy."

Damon let out a scoff. "No, you weren't. Are you kidding?" He looked at him. "You got there day two. Do you know how hard it is to get those XBox brains to focus?"

"And then when I turned of barflies into vampires for him to slaughter, you let Kol kill them." Klaus continued, passing off any blame.

"Here we go." Audrey muttered to herself, closing her eyes with a sigh.

"Your brother problem, not mine, buddy."

Klaus just llooked at him, unimpressed. "And whose bright idea was it to saddle Jeremy with a conscience, huh?"

Audrey opened her eyes at that, taking the ball from Damon and throwing it at him. He glared, and she just looked at him blankly. Damon cleared his throat, trying to hide a snicker as he continued. "Well, we couldn't have him trying to stake Elena in her sleep, now, could we?" He pointed out.

"Ah, yes, for the love of Elena." Klaus mused with a nod. "How is it that she manages to overlook every horrific thing you've ever done? Is it willful ignorance, or perhaps something more pathological?"
