A/N: This is a kinda angsty imagine that has references to cheating and bad relationships.  Also, NCT is not involved in any of the things mentioned in this imagine, and it's purely fictional- they're just a wholesome group of boys who love creating music :)

"Don't get up.  I'll get it for you," your husband smiled warmly at you.

He could outshine the sun if he wanted.  Jaehyun brought over some watermelon from the counter he had sliced earlier.  You eagerly dug in, craving watermelon.  You felt a kick in your stomach, and Jaehyun bent down, placing a hand on soon-to-be baby #2.

"Do I smell watermelon?" your first son asked.  Mark was four, and Jaehyun and you had had him before your marriage, but he was the best thing to come into your lives.  And just like you, he had a watermelon addiction.

"I'll bring you a bowl, too," Jaehyun grinned.  "Take a seat at the table, Markie."

Mark sat down and stared at your protruding belly.  "Mom, why is your tummy so big?"

You giggled softly, ruffling his soft hair.  "Oh Mark, one day Uncle Johnny will  teach you.  Until then, let's just say I ate a watermelon seed and now there's a big watermelon inside me."

Mark gasped.  "Oh noooo, I've eaten like 5 seeds already!  I'm gonna have the biggest tummy in the world!"

Jaehyun laughed but quickly stifled his smile when he saw yours.  You were quick to take notice but kept amusing Mark with more watermelon stories.  Jaehyun took the opportunity to sneak to the master bedroom and check his phone.  He smiled at the incoming messages and was about to reply when suddenly his phone was snatched out of his hands.

You scrolled through the messages before dropping the phone in shock.

"Mommy, what's wrong?" Mark waddled into the room.

Jaehyun slammed his hand down, and Mark jumped back.  You quickly carried him to his room and gave him your phone and some earbuds to watch his favorite show before finding your husband.  His eyes searched every corner of the room for an escape, and you watched him sadly.

"Did you hate me that much?  That you had to find someone else to-"

"We were taking a break, remember?  It's not like we were married," Jaehyun tried to defend himself.

You picked up his phone from the floor and sifted through the pictures the woman on the other end had been sending  him.  She included cute good morning messages and pictures of another small child who looked half Mark's age.  She was cute with her mother's eyes and Jaehyun's charismatic dimples.

"I know we were taking a break, but why did you have to find someone else in that short period of time?  Now there are more people you have to be responsible for."  Your eyes pooled with tears, but you'd honestly expected this for a while.

Whenever you watched TV, Jaehyun would get on his phone and text someone during the ads.  And on the nights you went to bed early, he "went to the gym" to go exercise.  One night, you had almost followed him but decided to trust him for a little longer.  But here was definitive proof, and it shattered your heart that your husband could love someone else just as much or more than he loved you.

"Jaehyun, I don't think I can make this work knowing this," you said while trying to keep your voice from breaking.  You clearly loved him.  And you had decided to take more steps and have a daughter enter your life to grow your family.  Was it just you living in a fantasy of your thoughts?

"Y/N, you know that was in the past.  I don't have any romantic attachment with that woman, but she also gave birth to my daughter.  Is it so wrong I want to see my other daughter's face?"

"Can you leave for tonight?  I'll get the divorce papers ready, and I'll keep Mark with me."

You pushed him out of the house and called up your best friend Johnny Seo.  He was always there for you, and right now, you just needed someone to listen.  He drove over even though it was almost the middle of the night and sat down in your living room to hear the story.  As you spoke, you could see his fists balling in anger.

"Why did you let him back into your life after your break?  You were clearly hurt back then.  What made you want to-  You know what?  I shouldn't be getting mad at you.  He's the one to blame here.  If you want, I can help you file the divorce.  Or watch Mark while you handle that stuff."

You brushed the tears away.  "I'm sorry you have to see me like this all the time.  I knew loving such a handsome man would hurt me so much.  Nothing ever works out for me.  I'm always rejected and kicked to the curb."

Johnny looked away.  "Don't get too upset, Y/N.  It's bad for the baby."  But he also hated seeing you cry over someone else.  Because throughout college and even up until now, he had a crush on you.  When you told him about Jaehyun, he had no choice but to let you go.  Because sometimes, letting someone go was the best way to show someone you loved them.  And he didn't want to cage you.  Johnny wanted you to spread your wings and fly.  But now someone had clipped your wings and left with you an emotional scar that would take time to heal.

"You want me to beat him up?" Johnny asked.

You shook your head.  "If you really love someone, sometimes it's best to let them go.  I raised Mark on my own for two years.  And I'll raise this little girl just fine."

Johnny smiled, patting your shoulder gently.  "And just like always, I'll always be there for you.  Don't hesitate to call."

He kept reassuring you and wiping your tears, hoping that one day you would realize he was someone you'd never have to let go.

A/N:  Who's crying after this one?  Thanks boopchims for requesting this angsty Jaehyun imagine.  Once again, this is a fictional plot, and Jaehyun has never engaged in any of the activities here.  NCT is a bunch of wholesome boys :)

Question of the imagine: If you were in this scenario, what would you do?  Would you stay with Jaehyun, raise your children as a single mom, or end up falling for Johnny and raising Jaehyun's kids together?
