You hesitated before ringing the doorbell.  Your parents were out of town for the week for a business trip which meant you had to stay with your best friend Lee Jeno.  Your parents loved Jeno.  In their eyes, he was a golden child with perfect grades and a decent social life.  You hated when your parents compared you to him, but him being your bestie made up for it.  You also had the teeniest crush on him, but you were fine with him just being your friend.  It was unrealistic to believe the two of you could be something more.

You were so lost in your thoughts that you didn't realize Jeno had opened the door already.  He laughed at you before taking your suitcase and duffel bag.

"You'll be staying in my room.  The original plan was for you to use my brother's room, but he got sick at university and is staying home until he gets better."

You blushed, your mind drifting away from reality as you imagined what could happen staying in his room.  No.  You couldn't be having these thoughts.  It would make your one week stay at his house very uncomfortable.

Jeno quickly inflated an air mattress, setting it up next to his own bed.  "You can take the bed, and I'll take the air mattress."

"No, no, no, this is your house, so you should sleep on your bed," you shook your head, and Jeno laughed.

"Well, as long as you're comfortable, it works," he grinned.  "So, what should we do first?  How about I cook us dinner?  My parents usually get back to the house late, so I learned how to cook.  You like lasagna?"

Your mouth watered just thinking about it.  "Sure, let's see what you've got."

It wasn't long before Jeno was taking his lasagna out of the oven.  It smelled heavenly.  He cut a slice for you, and you felt your cheeks turn red.  Why did this seem so much like a date night to you?  You dug your fork into the slice, and the sauce oozed out.  Taking a bite, your eyes widened in shock.  It was one of the best things you had ever tasted.

"How did you learn to cook like this?" you asked, and Jeno laughed, serving you another slice.

"I told you.  My parents always come back late from work, and I didn't want to wait until they came back to eat, so I learned how to make my own food.  This is the first time someone is trying something that I've made.  Even my older brother hasn't tasted my cooking."

You felt honored.  "Well, this could win Chopped."

Jeno took a seat next to you, digging into his own dish.  There were no words, but the silence didn't feel awkward.  It never did.  That was one thing you liked about being with Jeno.  You never felt the need to speak at all times.  Just being in each other's presence was comfortable enough.

Jeno sat on his bed, working on his homework while you stayed at the sofa in his living room, watching a movie.  You could barely keep your eyes open.  Your stomach was full, and you were wrapped in a blanket.  It would only be a matter of seconds before you fell asleep.

You grabbed your things and prepared for bed, but you realized you had forgotten to pack your pajamas.  You cursed mentally before tapping Jeno's shoulder.

"Hey," you said in small voice, "do you have a  large shirt I could sleep in?  I forgot my PJs at my house."

Jeno opened his closet, looking for a shirt before tossing one to you.  He handed you pajama pants as well, and you quickly changed into them in the bathroom.  When you came out, Jeno's heart started doing backflips.  Seeing you swallowed up in his clothes made him melt.  You lay down on the air mattress, drawing the blankets up to your chin when suddenly, there was a loud "pop", and the air mattress deflated like a sad balloon.
