"Jungwoo, here, eat this."  Taeyong placed a piece of meat on top of his rice, and Jungwoo smiled and thanked him before gobbling the bite up.

"Take this too."  Other members piled more food on his plate.  Everyone loved Jungwoo.  That was a fact.  He could fit any concept that was thrown at him, but he was just naturally adorable.

Taeyong's birthday was just around the corner, and Jungwoo wanted to pick something cute up for him.  Even though Taeyong put up a tough image, Jungwoo knew better.  The leader of NCT 127 was addicted to plushies.  Jungwoo quickly finished up his lunch and wore his face mask and pulled his baseball cap down so that he wouldn't be recognized.

Mark and Lucas decided to tag along and help Jungwoo pick out the perfect plush for Taeyong.  They knew that if Jungwoo stepped into that store, he would be there for hours deciding.  And they had a schedule later today, so they needed to move fast.

They arrived at the plush store, and Jungwoo's eyes got so big they nearly popped out of his head.  "OH MY GOSH!  LUCAS!  MARK!"  He spun around in slow motion as if there were violins playing in the background like he was shooting his own K-drama.

"Um, let's just pick out something and go," Mark covered his face in embarrassment.  "Lucas and I will be looking around.  Come get us when you've decided on something."

Jungwoo nodded and moved to the back wall where the smaller, cuter plushies were.  There was a really cute lion, but then he laid eyes on this adorable little sloth.  He had to get this for Taeyong.  Hopefully Taeyong wouldn't take the gift the wrong way and think Jungwoo was calling him slow...

He heard a squeal and jumped.  He turned to see where the noise came from and saw a girl probably around his age.  Your hair was tied back in pigtails, and glasses with circular frames rested at the tip of your nose.  He watched as you grabbed a giraffe and squealed again.

"You are so cute," you spoke to the giraffe.  Then you proceeded to pick up an alligator sporting a toothy grin.  "Aw, but you're cute, too."

Jungwoo resisted the urge to laugh.  How were you so cute?

"You should get me because I'm taller," you said in a  deeper voice, pretending to be the giraffe.  "Just because you're taller doesn't mean you're more important," the alligator huffed back.

"That sounds like something Ten would say to Jisung," Jungwoo murmured to himself.

You sighed, "I can't decide.  Then she looked up and saw the same sloth that Jungwoo had been eyeing for Taeyong.  "No way!  I have to have that one!"  You stood on your tippy toes, but before you could grab the sloth, someone else took it off the shelf and handed it to you.

"Oh, um, thank you," you replied shyly, and Jungwoo almost pinched your cheeks.  "I was looking for a birthday present for my little sister."

"Oh, I was looking for one for my friend.  He dances, and he's really cute, but I couldn't figure out which plush to get him.  What do you think?"

You puffed out your cheeks while you thought, and Jungwoo felt himself falling for you by the minute.  He had always thought he was the cutest because of all the love he received everywhere he went.  Restaurants would give him extra food because he was so cute.  And even when he messed up the choreography during practice, the members would always hug him and give him the encouragement he needed.  But this was the first time he was seeing someone cuter than him.

"I know just the one!  Follow me!"  You led him over to another wall where Mark and Lucas were, trying to figure out which plush looked like which member.

"This one totally looks like Taeil-hyung," Mark laughed and then he stared in your direction.  "Wait, isn't that Jungwoo?"

Lucas smirked.  "Wow, he's really something.  He picked up a plush and a girl."

Mark elbowed him, and they ducked behind a stand of plushies to watch.

"You see the pink octopus up there?  I think that'll be the best one to give your dancing friend."  You once again got on your tippy toes and tried to reach for it, but Jungwoo beat you to it.  "Oh, you got it already."

"Hey, um, do you wanna maybe get some bubble tea after this?  I don't really have anything for the next thirty minutes."

You grinned, your smile stretching from ear-to-ear, and Jungwoo internally screamed.  "Yes, let's go!  I've never had bubble tea before."

"WHAT?!" Lucas exclaimed from behind the stand, and Mark clamped a hand over the boy's mouth.

So Jungwoo and you found yourselves at a cute bubble tea shop.  Jungwoo was pretty worried that you would ask him to take off his hat or that other people would recognize him and crowd around him.  For once, he didn't want the attention.  He only wanted you.

Mark and Lucas were sitting at a table nearby, sipping their bubble tea and watching the pair.  They made bets on what they thought was going to happen.

"This is probably a one-time thing.  I don't think they'll meet up after this," Mark said.

"No way.  They're probably going to exchange phone numbers and go on a date.  You owe me 500 won if I'm right."

Mark snorted and continued sipping his bubble tea.

Jungwoo punched the straw into the drink for you and watched your reaction as you took a sip.  You laughed as you  bit into the boba.  "Wow, this is so good!  I've been missing out!  Thank you for letting me try this."

"No problem.  Um, so are you in college?" he asked.

You nodded.  "Yep!  I'm studying environmental sciences, so I work with animals a lot.  Maybe that's why I love these plushies so much."

Jungwoo could imagine you being all cute and cuddly  with a puppy, and he smiled.

"I don't want to creep you out or anything, but you are Kim Jungwoo, right?  From NCT?  Or maybe you just look familiar."

Jungwoo pulled down his face mask a little more.  "No, that's me.  NCT's Jungwoo."  He glanced down at his watch.  "Wow, thirty minutes went by fast.  I'm really sorry, but I have a schedule to get too.  Let's exchange numbers before I go.  We should meet up again sometime."

Lucas held out his hand.  "500 won, Mark Lee."

You shyly pulled out your phone and entered your number, excited to see him again.

The two of you talked every day for almost two months before you both had time to meet up.  You met in a park, and Jungwoo smiled when he spotted you in your pigtails, running to him in a pretty pink dress and sneakers.

Mark and Lucas had followed Jungwoo to the park and had found a nice spot behind some bushes to hide and watch.

"500 won that they'll kiss," Lucas said, turning his camera on.

Mark rolled his eyes.  "Hyung, the only person Jungwoo will kiss is you.  You're on."

Jungwoo and you lost track of time talking about what you had been up to.  He was glad to hear that your studies were going well, and he was surprised that you still had time to support NCT even though you were so busy.

"And then this bunny came up to me and looked at me like-"

Jungwoo cut you off with a peck.

You tried continuing, not sure what just happened.  "The bunny looked at me like Doyoung-"

He pecked you again.

"500 won, Mark Lee," Lucas laughed.

Mark groaned while snapping some pictures of the two.  Jungwoo could thank him later.
