Chapter 14 Fredric Salvador 3

Lucifer POV:- 

                                     I was a bit nervous before leaving the house I was getting some kind of weird feeling like I should not leave them alone. I looked at my mom packing my stuff in a suitcase I went up to her at said: "Is it necessary?" she understood what I meant. She smiled at said "Not for me Lu but more than me your father is concern about you so he wants you to learn to survive in this underworld" 

"May I know the real reason why Father is concern about it?" I asked her

"Lately things are not good, some house has turned up against us and signed with Agostinos and Hestons" 

"And how is that a problem? I mean we are the same we are still together" I said

"Then you tell me what was the problem for them to be with us?" She asked me back and I understood what she was trying to say. 

"But that impossible," I said

"I know you'll miss the thanksgiving I have organized for us," she said smiling and in excitement

"Mom, you please take care of yourself okay," I said in concern and she nodded in response

Benin Vermont POV 

                                        I walked in Agostino's mansion I was called by Robert Agostino. I was guided in his office by one of his capos. I walked inside his office Robert was sitting in his on his chair and I smiled at him and sat in front of him. 

"Good to see you Benin hows work," asked Robert I smile and replied "good may I know the reason why you wanted to meet me"   

"You must know by now that most the houses under you have turned to us," he said

"Yes I know and it's strange may I know the reason why they are doing this," I asked him back.

"No all they said they don't feel safe" he replied I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion as to why would they do that. 

"Did they tell you anything else?" I said 

"No" he replied and kept looking at me for a second he pulled out a paper from his drawer and placed it on his table" I looked at it and picked it up and opened it "there would remain only one king to rule" was written on it. I looked up at him in confusion.

"What does this mean?" I asked him in confusion although I knew what this means. 

"I don't know I got this letter it's anonymous," he said.  

"Should I inform Frederic?" I said

"No, let's keep it to us and keep an eye on who this could be" he replied.

"For now I wanted to ask you to sign your house to me cause it can be dangerous in Salvadore," he asked 

"It says only one king can rule what if that's Salvadore and not you," I asked he felt betrayed by my answer.

"I can assure your safety because the most powerful is Salvadore so it's dangerous for them only," he said

"Thank you, Robert, but I'd like to die with Fredric," I said

"Think about it again" he warned me I looked at him in suspicion. I nodded in response out of courtesy and respect for the concern of my house he had. 

Eric POV

                      I was a bit excited and happy because Lucifer was leaving for Mexico and I could finally have some time with Bibiana. I called her and she pucked it up in one ring 

"Hey! is he gone," I asked as soon she picked up my call. 

"Ouch! not feeling sad that he won't be here?" she asked

"Sad...not so much just excited Id finally get time to spend with you" I replied

"Am sad that he won't be here I feel unsafe when he's not around," said Bibiana

"Don't be, am here to take care of you B, and Ill meet Lucifer before he leaves and promise him that I will take care of you" I promised her

"Aww that's so sweet and what you want in return," she said 

"All of you," I said 

Lucifer POV

                    I knocked on his office door I heard him saying "Come in"  I pushed the large wooden door and walked inside he was sitting in his chair with his back facing me. He was looking at the large painting that was placed behind his wall of an Indian myth showing men pulling woman clothes and the rest of the men looking down feeling ashamed and guilty. I never understood what was the actual story behind the painting but I ignored it. He turned back facing me he said 

"So are you ready to learn?" He said In excitement. I've never seen him smiling at me he was alway stiff towards me. Seeing me going numb with his this side he gave a small laugh and asked me to sit down. I did as I was told.

"Now you'll be thinking about what your gonna learn in Mexico then let me enlight you a little that I reached Mexico due to human trafficking then I was picked up by Valak cause he said he saw some potential in me teaching me how to survive in the underworld cause its the underworld that rules the nation and not the politicians everywhere."  he said I nodded in response and looked down and said "Am just worried about how things will be here" 

"We'll be fine don't worry about us" he replied I nodded again in response "Now go he's waiting for you,"  he said by "he" I understood he meant Valak I stood and walked out. I walked out and saw Uncle Benin waiting for me he opened the door of the car for me and hugged him first and said "Take care of yourself" he patted on my back and gave a smile. I sat down and we took off. 

For the last time I tried calling Adolfo but he didn't pick up.
