Sam

I rushed downstairs as my mom called my name out.

"Come on Malissas in Labor!" She yelled throwing my keys at me.

I quickly put on my flip flops then We got in my car and drove to the hospital.

...

"I'm so excited!" Mom said as she grabbed Malissa other hand.

The doctor walked in,"Alright you should be ready to push."

He sat down but before he could say push, she started pushing. She squeezed my hand and let go of my mother hand so It wouldn't hurt her.

"It hurts so much." She cried out.

"A couple more pushes and your done." He tried to calm her down.

As she kept pushing the doctor finally screamed,"I see the head!"

"Two more big pushes!"

After the first push she said,"I cannot go anymore, I'm tired."

Mom grabbed her hand again,"Come on Malissa."

I rubbed on the back of her hand as she pushed our baby out.

"Congratulations! It's a boy!" The doctor smiled.

"What's his name?"

"Mason Addams." Malissa answered looking at me.

......

I watched Malissa as she looked at the baby. Mom stepped out the room about Ten minutes ago to give us privacy when the doctors brought the baby back after cleaning him.

"He looks so much like you." She said grabbing my hand.

I pulled away slightly causing her to frown.

Before she could say anything I said,"Now is not the time."

"Well when is it? I haven't seen you in a while." She said trying to grab my hand again.

She sighed,"I told you I was sorry for what I said about Vanessa and accusing you of cheating."

If only she knew.

"We can talk about this later."

Mom walked back in,"Can I hold him?"

Malissa passed her the baby then looked at me,"Do you want to hold him too?"

I shook my head and sat down.

"When do you leave this place?" I asked looking around at the machines.

"Tomorrow." She answered closing her eyes.

Standing up I said,"Well I'm going to get something to eat."

Malissa eyes shot opened but she didn't say anything. Mom shook her head at me while holding the baby.

I opened the room door and ran into another Doctor, this time female, making her papers fly everywhere.

"I'm sorry." I told her and help picked them up.

She smiled slightly and held the papers,"It's ok."

I smiled back causing her to walk away with a blush.

She yelled,"See you around."

I continued walking to my car. When I got in I felt the cold metal of a gun pressed to my head. Again.

"Give me a good reason why I shouldn't kill you." A strained voice said.

I didn't answer making him shoot me in the leg. I flinched at the blood and tried not to scream.
