Thanks for the reviews and reads on the previous chapter, I hope you enjoy this chapter just as much.

Since the meeting had lasted that long, she hadn't been able to invite Natalie over for lunch, something she had actually looked forward to. Sure, she'd seen her walking in the halls and said the occasional hello, but she really didn't know anything about her. And when she saw her walking down the hallway, and she rushed to invite her inside of her new office for tea. She would be leaving in a couple of hours for Belgium, to inform her family and closest friends about her engagement and she didn't have much time left to inform them about it.

"Thanks for coming in again." Amelia thanked her since she'd heard from Kate that she'd called her in to come and talk to her, but the meeting about their wedding had lasted longer than anyone could have expected. And so, she'd been waiting, working on the things that she could till Amelia came out of the meeting for her engagement announcement and so forth.

"No problem, I do have my suspicion about what this is going to be about though. After all you just became engaged as well." Natalia pointed out with a smile on her face, holding herself in a perfect poise, something which had been arranged she was going to get her etiquette lessons, more than before, preparing her for her role as a member of the royal family now that they were engaged to be married. And she was sure that she was going to enjoy that even less so than her RPO's.

"May I start off with congratulating you first on your engagement." Natalia said as Amelia nodded her head with a smile on her face.

"Thank you, it's been a very busy day already and I'm leaving for Belgium in just a few hours as well to inform my family and closest friends about it, so they don't have to find out on TV or that I won't have to tell them on the phone." Amelia explained to her, wanting to be completely open with this person, since she would basically be running her life if she became her private secretary. And she better make that partnership work, it wasn't something that she wanted to do, fighting with the people that were meant to make her life easier.

"I bet they'll be happy about the news." Natalia pointed out as Amelia let out a small chuckle, before nodding her head with a large smile on her head, remembering back in August how they had all anticipated her to return engaged from the Caribbean. And she'd discovered that Alex had asked her grandfather's permission to marry her as well, so to him it probably wouldn't be that surprising to find out that she was engaged.

"Anyway, Natalia do you know why you're here?" Amelia asked her as Natalia waved her hand.

"Nat please." She told her as Amelia nodded her head in agreement.

"Nat, Kate explained to me that you might be interested in the position of my private secretary." Amelia started off, crossing her hands in his laps as she sat back in that comfortable armchair that Kate had gotten her and was now positioned in her office and she watched Nat let out a sigh before she nodded her head slowly in confirmation.

"I was interested in it yes, but back then Catherine decided to go with Catherine, I didn't hold it against them, but yes it would be a nice opportunity to have gotten that position back then. I'd love to prove myself that I'm capable and I'd love the new chance at it." Nat explained to her with a formal pose, but she felt her excitement coming off of her in waves at the prospect of becoming her private secretary. Reading people had always been something she'd been good at and not many people were able to hide things from her.

"How does that work? I don't have any experience here; I need someone who does. Who'll help me get better at this, guide me through my first years here because honestly, I have no idea what I'm going to be doing here, I have expectations and stuff I want to get started on, but it would be nice to have someone who knows what it's like to run a royal Rota. I just want to become the best version of myself here." Amelia explained to her, needing to make sure that she and her private secretary were on the same page, it wouldn't do well to butt heads with each other, and she didn't want to be the next new royal with complaints about being difficult or being a bully. She'd been bullied throughout her childhood and never wanted to be the person doing the bullying.
