The conversation with Kate had given her a lot to think about. And the closer the weekend came, the more she worried about the upcoming weekend and the following week when her placement started. She knew that she was stationed at the intensive care unit, and though she'd always looked forward to going to that ward, things had changed for her now and she feared she may no longer enjoy it as much as she would have done one day. She was terrified and looking forward to it a little as well, because she'd been waiting for so long on this, to be going to the intensive care unit, and not that she was finally here, well life had changed ever since she'd said that she wanted to work on intensive care.

And she was afraid about the future as well, this week had a been a week to reflect on so many things. She would never get her life back from before Alex, and did she even want to give up a happy future with Alex for a future of peace and quiet. Well as much as it would be since her life she'd known before would never fully return. Too much had happened for that and she loved Alex too much to just leave him for some peace and quiet.

Like she'd always pointed out, loving Alex was the easy part of it all, it was the things that came with that. The other parts that came with being in a relationship with him that weren't so easy. And when she knew he was going to be waiting on her on Friday afternoon at school, she wasn't sure she was ready to see him yet after a week of thought.

She'd been different this week, as Alex had been so nice to point out a couple of times already this week. She wasn't the same and neither did she feel the same, she needed time to think, to put things in perspective for her. And she wanted to avoid another fight at all costs.

"Have you guys really talked things out?" Helen wondered as they left their classroom, heading to leave school for the weekend.

"Not really, guess there will be a few more arguments." Amelia admitted grudgingly as they went down the stairs.

"I'll let you guys know how it goes." She told them as she excited the school between them, they didn't need even look twice at Taylor waiting by the side of a car with a smile on his face when he saw her. He simply opened the door for her as she slipped inside as quickly as possible.

"Thank T." she thanked him as she slid in beside her boyfriend and he immediately leant in to kiss her lips as Taylor took his spot at the steer.

"You okay?" he immediately asked her, he'd felt her distancing herself from him the entire week. He didn't know what was going on with her though. He thought they talked about what had bothered her last weekend, but it seemed that things weren't solved as much as he'd thought. Maybe their fight should have given him a clue that things weren't as well as they'd been before, but he'd hoped they'd put it past them, apparently not though. And he couldn't understand why it wasn't over and done with for Amelia, the argument had been talked out.

He'd assured her that everything was okay and was going to be okay with them. That he'd support her throughout everything they did, now and in the future. Whatever she decided, continuing or quitting school. That he was going to support her if Meghan played another dirtier trick than she'd already done last week. Whatever happened, he was going to be there for her. But it seemed like she didn't believe him or something else was going on.

He just wished he knew what it was, so he could solve it, he didn't like the fact that there was such a distance between them. They'd never been more apart than at this moment.

"Yea, I'm fine." She told him, the smile not reaching her eyes as they usually would, and he couldn't help but let out a small sigh. Seemed like they were going to have another discussion and he wasn't feeling up to it after the week he'd had.
