Requested by Lizzie Wells, hope you enjoy it

When Noir entered his favorite bar that night to enjoy some gigglewater to loosen himself up before going to his apartment after a hard day of crime fighting and nazi punching, what he didn't expect was to find you slumped over the bar, swirling a glass of the very same alcohol he enjoyed usually as your words were slurred into a incoherent ramble. The glow of alcohol was on your cheeks as you downed the rest of your glass. When Noir opened the door you glared at him before turning in your seat while a look of relief appeared on the bartender's face. A not-good feeling twisted itself up in Noir's gut, something here was wrong, something very wrong. You never drank, you told him that you swore off alcohol, but here you were, your wits long out the door.

"Barkeep, another" they were simple words, but with your slurred voice nobody could distinguish them clearly, except for the bartender .

"Sorry ma'am but I can't give you any more on good conscience."

"Come on, just one more, pretty please" you tried to lean forward and flirt him into giving you another glass but you almost fell off the stool, if Noir didn't catch you and set you back up.

"Go away" you pushed him, it was weak but it still surprised him. You were always looking to give him a hug whenever you could after a successful day.

"I'll take her home, put her gigglewater on my tab" Noir told the bartender who nodded, he knew you and Noir were friends and Noir would be damned if he wasn't the best bartender in town.
"Sure thing Noir" Spider-Noir picked you up and threw you over his shoulder, your slurred insults and small punches on his back only worrying him more.

"Relax, I'll get you home safe" Noir told you, but it fell upon deaf ears as Noir went to climb buildings, knowing that webshooting wasn't the best option for tonight, besides your apartment wasn't far from the bar. You still struggled against him until he finally got to your place through a route he's taken a thousand times. He put you down on your favorite chair and sat across from you on your coffee table.

"(Y/N)" Noir addressed, you groaned and shifted yourself away from him.

"(Y/N)" Noir's voice was becoming more stern now, but you found yourself unable to turn, so you stopped.

"(Y/N), I'm going to ask you a question and you better answer it. Why were you drinking? I thought you said you would never touch a drink in your life." You turned your head and did a raspberry before turning it right back around.

"(Y/N), I'm not leaving until you tell me why you were drinking." Noir told you.

"I don't like you anymore...you're so annoying..." you muttered, pouting as you crossed your arms. Spider-Noir felt a twinge of something that he hasn't felt in awhile, hurt, an emotion he didn't think he would feel ever again.

"What...?"
"I told you, I don't like you anymore, you hurt me too much" you pouted, words still slurred.
"That isn't true, you're just out of it because you were drinking" he was trying to lie to himself, you couldn't hate him, after what you've been through together?
"...why do you think I went drinking in the first place? To forget about you, obviously and how you hurt me..." you muttered.

"What did I do? What can I do to make this right with you (Y/N)?" Noir asked, pacing now.

"You can leave, and never talk to me again"
"Fine" Noir went to the window, if him leaving would make you happy then he would do it, but he stopped before leaving.

"Before I go...can you tell me what I did wrong?" Noir was met with silence as you tried to ignore him.

"(Y/N), please" his voice sounded so sad, so heart broken, your drunk self couldn't help but give in.

"I fell in love with you..." despite your alcoholic intake your words were clear as day.

"...what?" Noir was frozen in place as you curled into yourself.

"It's so frustrating! You obviously liked that reporter...I didn't want to get in the way...that's why I went to drink, so for once I could forget what I felt and my frustration but I...I still remember...why do I still remember?" You were crying now and under the mask, Noir's eyes softened.

"(Y/N)..." he got off the window and walked towards you slowly.

"I'm so sick and tired of this...the frustration...the saddness...all of it!...I just...I want it to go away...why won't it go away?" Now your voice was broken and slurred, making it harder for Noir to understand but he knew what you were saying.

"You're not in the way of anything (Y/N), I don't like that reporter the way you think I do."
"Really? You're lying" you muttered.

"I mean it, now come on let's get you to bed, I'll tell you everything tomorrow morning when you're sobered up, ok?"
"Is what you're going to tell me good?"
"Yes"
"You promise?"
"I do"
"...fine" you pouted you coudln't see it but Noir smiled under the mask as he picked you up, bridal-style this time and brought you to your room, laying you down on your bed and tucking you in.
"Get some rest"

"W...where are you going?" You asked him.

"Don't worry, I'll be around when you wake up" "Promise?" "Yes" "Ok...goodnight..." "Goodnight (Y/N)" Noir shut the light and closed the door before sitting on your chair, he might as well get some rest while he was waiting for you to sober up again.
