Meilin x Gray- Cherry Blossoms

This was requested by Wingstar on Quotev, srry it took so long fam, also the kimonos will be needed in reference for later.

"Hey Snowflake" Gray kissed the top of Meilin's head, making Meilin choke on her tea slightly.

"Y....you're back! Why didn't you tell me?!" Meilin asks, Gray laughs and sits next to her, slinging his arm around Meilin's shoulders.

"I wanted to surprise you Snowflake" he answers, pulling a small gift out of his pocket.
"Found it on my job and thought of you, I hope you like it" Gray says. Natsu stopped eating his chicken wing and watched the two.
"Wait a second! How long has this been going on for!?" Natsu shouts, pointing back and forth between the two. Lucy facepalmed and Erza was too wrapped up in her strawberry cake to notice.

"What's the matter flamebrain? You jealous 'cause I have a girl and you don't?" Gray asks.

"Yeah right! More like it's because I don't want to see my friend suck faces with my rival!" Natsu argues.

"I just kissed her head man! Are you seriously that dense?!"
"Sure it's little kisses on the head but before you know it, it's sucking faces 24/7"
"We just started dating! Besides, it's not even humanly possible to do that!"

"Oh sure! Pervs like you will always find a way!"

"Aren't you going to stop them?" Lucy asks Meilin. Meilin sighs and gets up, walking over to them.

"Sorry Gemstone" Meilin apologizes to Gray quickly before knocking their heads together.
"Ow! Why didn't I get an apology!" Natsu complains.
"Because you started it, you ok Gray?" Meilin asks him as he rubbed his forehead.
"Yeah, it'll take a lot more than that to bring me down" Gray answers, getting up.
"I'm sure it will, now come on, Muchu's grumpy because you didn't say hi to him." Meilin says, Muchu hissed from his fruit bowl, glaring at Gray before lowering himself so only his eyes were visible. Gray laughed nervously before Meilin pulled him back to his spot at the table.

"Muchu, Gray's back, don't you want to say hi?" Meilin asks the bowl of fruit, Muchu raised his head again and narrowed them at Gray, making a 'mah' sound before going back under the fruit, making a point of whipping his head away.

"Come on, don't be like that-" Gray put a hand on Meilin's shoulder.

"Let me try" he whispers, she nodded as Gray fished in his other pocket for a small sack which he put on the table.
"It just so happens I found an exotic fruit stand during my job. It would be a shame if this dragonfruit went to waste." Gray says, loud enough for Muchu to hear. Muchu perked his head up, looking at the exotic fruit, he flicked his tongue out. He looked up at Gray, practically begging him for the fruit.
"And here I thought you hated me" Muchu then proceeded to hop out of his fruit bowl, crawling up Gray's hand and up to his shoulder, where he gave him a brief lick on his cheek with a little rub before giving him puppy eyes. Gray chuckles and scratched the top of Muchu's head.
"Alright go ahead" he smiles, Muchu grinned and quickly scurried down Gray's arm before practically pouncing on the fruit. Using his tail to cut it up, to make it easier for him to eat.

"Food? Really?" Meilin asks.
"Well it's fruit, and he likes it. I don't see a problem" Gray answers, putting his arm around her shoulders. She sighed and leaned against him, watching Muchu happily eat the fruit.
"Are you going to open your present, Snowflake?" Gray asks.

"Can I?' Meilin asks, Gray chuckles.

"Of course Snowflake" Meilin opened the present, exposing a glittering ore. She looked over at Gray as if begging permission to try it, he chuckled and gave her arm a soft squeeze.
