Chapter 39

He was kissing me.

Kissing me.

Right now. 

His lips felt so warm and soft.

My  eyes bulged open a few seconds later. Startled, Kai broke the kiss, looking at me. "Alex?"

"Uh... Kai?" I replied lamely. "Sorry." I bowed my head in embarrassment. This was so not how I imagined my first - scratch that- second kiss to be. Kai immediately stood straight, placing his above his mouth.

Looking away, red cheeks. "I'm sorry. That was probably.. too sudden for you." 

A few minutes passed, with me silent.I was still in a state of shock. While Kai was patiently waiting for me to say something. But I was too busy thinking. What should I say? How do I do this? I mentally shook my head, I have to say something eventually.

"I'm sorry Alex. I know this is really too sudden, but I just can't hold it in anymore. I really do like you. " His voice was so soft, and after saying those words he turned around, back facing me. "We should head back. Just forget.." he stopped and sighed," .. everything."

I can hear a small voice, practically screaming in my head,"You stupid idiot. He's walking away. Do something. Do sooomeething!!"

My body must've acted on its own, I bolted off towards Kai. Pulling his arm, I pulled him backwards, enveloping him in my arms. "A-a..alex?"

"I like you too. More than you'll ever know."I smiled, before leaning in to kiss him. I felt him smile, as he wrapped his arms around, pulling me closer to him.

And to be honest, kissing him was the most wonderful feeling ever. His lips..fitted mines perfectly. Damn. This was way better than Blake's kiss. Wait, I shouldn't compare. That meant nothing, now this.. Kai, it means everything.

Kai was the first to pulled back, slightly gasping for air, "You know I'd kiss you all night." I blushed, looking away. He chuckled, "Buuut.." He groaned, looking upwards. He took a moment of silence, and closed his eyes. 

I took this time to study his face, unconsciously I found my hand reaching for his right cheek, "We should head home now Alex." My hand stopped midway, Alex looked down on me, smiling. "We still have to face your parents."

My heart spiked at the mention of my parents, suddenly I don't want to go back home. "Do..we have to?" I asked, quietly looking down. 

Kai sighed, letting go of me. Holding onto my hand, he lead me to the bench again. Sitting down, he motioned me to sit beside him. 

 Once seated, he wrapped an arm around my shoulder, pulling me closer to him. Smiling, I placed my head on his shoulder. I still can't believe it, I'm actually here, in kai's arms. 

I'm falling for you Alex.

Remembering his confession, I felt giddy all over. I can't help but hide my face, damn I'm acting like a schoolgirl!

Kai was laughing, he tried to make me face him, but I won't budge. Oh hell no!

"Alex."

"What?" I mumbled, not daring to look at him.

"Can I ask a question?"

I gave a nod. "I'd like it if I can see your cute face, Alex."

Oh.My.Goodness! This boy is seriously driving me mad!

"No."

"Alex."

Suddenly I felt a strong tug, as Kai forced me to look at him. I instantly closed my eyes shut. Then I felt something warm, on my lips. Opening my eyes I saw Kai smiling at me. "Finally. You sure do act all girly." He chuckled.
