"Is he gonna do it?" Topanga laughs, "He's been trying for a few minutes now I think he'll just give up" my mom smiles as we all watch my son attempt to eat watermelon pieces with a fork but struggling to get the fruit on his fork.

Its adorable to watch but I feel bad, he's been trying so hard and yet the fruit just keeps slipping away. I'm surprised he isn't getting mad or sad, I would've been frustrated in his place. I guess that's a characteristic he gets from his father. He's patient (sometimes) and instead of throwing a fit he keep trying, until certain point.

"Oh, he's had enough" I laugh as he just picks up the fruit with his hands and stuffs it into his mouth

"Is that yummy?" I question making him look up at me. "Is it good?" I ask again and he nods in response. He glances back down at his plate and lifts his fork to try again but he fails on the first try and uses his fingers instead.

"I think he just completely gave up" Topanga chuckles

"I think he just completely gave up" Topanga chuckles. "I don't blame him" Josh joins in "Poor guy has been trying for like 5 minutes, I'm surprised he kept trying." I smile and shift my gaze to my boyfriend "He gets that from you" he furrows his brows and shakes his head.

"What? No, that's all you."

"Nuh huh, I would've been frustrated by then and I would've given up ages ago" I explain but Josh still shakes his head. "No, you're the one who never gives up" I look at him confused "Have you met me" he laughs nodding his head.
