This chapter is a mess. Not my best work.

"Noah no" I scold but the smile pulling on his face makes me break out of my tough mom look. I try to stifle my smile but its impossible and I end up letting a giggle slip past my lips. He grabs another sock from the dresser and throws it onto the floor along with the five other pairs he threw just a few seconds ago.

"Noah" I say more seriously crossing my arms over my chest

"Noah" I say more seriously crossing my arms over my chest. I frown showing him I'm not happy with his actions. When he throws another 2 more pairs I groan, "No" I say sternly.

"Pick them up" I say picking one up showing him how to do it.

He copies me and bends down to grab the mess he made. He picks them one by one putting the socks back in their place. "Good boy" I smile as I watch him put the last one. "Mama" he whines with a frown as he walks towards me with his arms open.

I pick him up and he snuggles against my chest

I pick him up and he snuggles against my chest. "No more playing in the drawers okay?" I brush his hair back and walk out of my bedroom with him in my arms. I carry him downstairs where Josh is helping his mom with breakfast.

Josh finished his exams a few days ago meaning he was finally able to relax and breathe. It also meant he was the one who took care of Noah when I had to go out of the house. He still had to go to work but he only worked for 4 days out of 7 and soon he'd be getting his summer holidays. Anyways I am extremely proud of him.
