Day 25: unpopular opinion
I already made a chapter dedicated to some unpopular opinions of mine, but I forgot to list this one, so... I don't think it's the end of the world if a mainstream celebrity or YouTuber is casted in a show. As Katherine Steele says, "someone not showing a talent doesn't mean it's not there". In other words, we can't just assume that these celebrities and YouTubers are terrible musical theatre performers all because they don't do broadway as their main thing. For all we know, they could be amazing musical theatre performers, but we wouldn't know, because that's not what they mainly do. (Also, it's just kinda rude to make assumptions about how somebody can perform before actually seeing or hearing them.)
In summary, I'm really tired of seeing so many people say, "can they cast someone who ACTUALLY does broadway?!"
