Another movie to musical adaptation that I haven't seen the original movie of (oof).
Overall opinion: I loved this soundtrack so much!
Commentary:
1. Sophia Anne Caruso kinda sounds like Billie Eilish.
2. The Whole "Being Dead" Thing made me laugh so hard.
3. Alex Brightman is so hilarious!
4. Love the reference to Dies Irae. Really gives me some Sweeney Todd vibes. (I mean, Dies Irae IS referenced in the Sweeney Todd opening number.)
5. There are now two angsty Winona Ryder characters in the world of musical theatre (Veronica Sawyer and Lydia Deetz).
6. Lydia making Beetlejuice think she's gonna say his name only to say another word starting with "be" was such a power move.
7. Kerry Butler and Rob McClure were AMAZING!
8. LET'S HAUNT THIS B**CH!
