Chapter 7: Ritual

I was a little girl

Alone in my little world

Who dreamed of a little home for me. 

I played pretend between the trees,

And fed my houseguests bark and leaves,

And laughed in my pretty bed of green. 

I had a dream 

I opened my eyes and stared at the sky

That I could fly from the highest swing. 

I had a dream. 

I spotted Lady Tsunade with Shizune at the top of the Hokage building, staring at me and wondering on what am I doing. I just smiled gently at her and continued.

Long walks in the dark

Through woods grown behind the park,

 I asked God who I'm supposed to be. 

The stars smiled down on me,

God answered in silent reverie.

I said a prayer and fell asleep. 

I had a dream 

That I could fly

From the highest tree. 

I had a dream. 

I closed my eyes once again and made my emotions become one with the song

Oohhh. Oohhh

Now I'm old and feeling grey.

I don't know what's left to say

About this life I'm willing to leave. 

I lived it full and I lived it well,

There's many tales I've lived to tell.

I'm ready now, I'm ready now,

I'm ready now to fly from the highest wing. 

I had a dream

When I finished, I slowly opened my eyes and stared at the sky for a while.

Sasuke’s POV

We’re beginning to exit the Ichiraku’s place when a gentle wind blew, it was so gentle that we stopped and savour it.

“The wind is…it’s so relaxing” Sakura said.

“You’re right… but its’s. too much. Weird isn’t it?” Ino said afterward giggled

Their right. It’s so relaxing, it even feels like that I can always be safe. It feels like I was being blessed. It’s so wonderful that it’s…weird.

‘I played pretend between a tre-‘

“Wha-!” I mumbled. Is that a voice?

Closing my eyes, I tried confirming if I really heard a voice.

‘That I coul-‘ it trailed off again. But it’s definitely a voice, although not that clear.

I opened my eyes and turned to face the others that were also shocked. It seems like they also heard the voice.

“You heard it guys?” I asked.

They snapped their heads at me before nodding hesitantly.

“But were not too sure if… if it’s really a voice” Shikamaru said with a deep frown.
