Austin, Sarah, and I finish shopping and we are heading back to my house for this little cookout my dad is hosting. Sarah gets in my car, and Austin opens my door for me.
"I love you." I say.
"I love you too. Drive safe." He says.
"You too." I say. He kisses me, and I get in my car, and start it. Austin walks across the lot and gets in his car, and I start the car and drive out of the parking lot.
"So did you like your surprise?" Sarah asks.
"Yes. Thank you so much." I say. I turn onto the main road, and start driving the familiar drive home.
"You're welcome. It wasn't that much work. Austin said he finished recording early so he was coming home anyway. I just made it a surprise." Sarah says.
"Thank you so much." I say grabbing her hand. She smiles.
"You're welcome." She says. We turn into my court, and I park the car in my driveway. I look at all the cars to try to figure out who's here. The Lowe's of course, my grandparents, Austin's grandpa, and Austin's aunt Lisa.
I take the keys out of the ignition and get out of the car.
"Party time." I say. Sarah laughs, and I wait for Austin to walk up to me. I grab his hand.
"Leggo." Sarah says. I laugh.
"How was the demo?" I ask Austin.
"Good. It was fun recording it." He says.
"When do you figure out if you got signed?" I ask.
"They said that they would call me by next week." He says. We walk inside.
"That's good." I say. I see all my family, and Austin's family sitting in the living room. I smile.
"Austin!" Alyssa says. She jumps up and runs to hug him. I walk over and hug Austin's grandad.
"Hi grandad." I say.
"Hi sweetie." He says. I hug Lisa too.
"Hi aunt Lisa." I say.
"Hi honey." She says.
"How's school?" Grandad asks.
"Good I guess. A lot of work with being in some AP classes." I say.
"High school is hard." Lisa says. I laugh.
"Yes it is." I say.
"Well go have fun." Grandad says.
"Okay." I say. I walk over and hug my aunt and uncle, then I look over and see Alyssa still hugging Austin. I roll my eyes. Seriously she hasn't seen him in 5 days like me. You don't see me hugging him like that do you? No.
I walk over and grab Austin's hand.
"Bye now." I say to Alyssa. She rolls her eyes and walks away.
"You're so cute when you're jealous." Austin says. I blush.
"You're just cute in general." I say. He kisses my cheek, and we walk over to the food and get plates of food.
Food timeeeee.
