Best Friends

Chapter 79: Guitar Hero

-Later- (3:45pm) 

Austin and I just finished swimming in the pool, and now we are waiting in line at the food court. It is a really cool food court, the best part is they have an ice cream bar! I love it. Austin and I finally get our food, we check out and then we go to find a table. 

"So what are the plans tonight?" I ask him as we sit down.

"I really don't know." He chuckles. "What do you have in mind?" He asks. 

"Hmmm..." I say as I put my hand to my chin like I am thinking. Austin laughs. "We could go check out the gift shop because I definitely want to get stuff for our friends and family at home. Then can we go check out the arcade?" I ask. 

"That sounds like a fun plan." He says. I grab the slice of pizza off of my plate and take a bite.

"Great." I say. "Thank you again for this trip, I have never been here." I say to him. He smiles. 

"Anything for you princess. You mean the world to me, and I want to show you the world." He says as he reaches over the table and grabs my hand. 

All of a sudden a girl screams as she spots Austin and I. 

"It's Austin Mahone!" She screams. Then there is a huge swarm around our table for photos and autographs. I sigh. 

Yes I know, dating Austin comes with all of this. But sometimes I just wish that they would give it a break while we are on vacation. 

Of course Austin has to sign every single autograph and take every single picture. Sometimes the girls ask me to take the pictures of them. I just sit while all of this is happening and eat my pizza and drink the soda that I got. Austin looks at me, and whispers, "I'm sorry." I give him a slight smile and then take my phone out of my pocket. All the girls are asking millions of questions, not even waiting for answers. 

"Austin how long are you here for?" One girl asks. 

"What parks are you going to?" Another girl asks. 

"Listen ladies. As much as I would love to answer all of your questions. I am here with (Y/N), and we would like some time to ourselves." Austin says. They all nod, some girls say thank you, others just silently walk away. "I am sorry babe, I thought we would be left alone here." He says as he grabs my hand over the table. 

"Hey, fans were apart of the package when I signed on. I just wish they knew when to leave you alone." I chuckle. He kisses the back of my hand. 

"I know." He says. 

"So, gift shop?" I ask him while raising an eyebrow. 

"Gift shop." He says. We both stand up and dump our trays in the trash. Then we head to the gift shop. 

-After Shopping- 

I just spent so much money, but I got a lot of presents for my friends and family. My favorite thing I got myself was these giant Mickey feet slippers. They are super comfortable, and I absolutely love them. Austin bought me these really cute Minnie ears, and the bow lights up and syncs with the firework shows that they have in the parks. 

Austin and I walk over to the arcade, which is right outside of the gift shop. They have a bunch of racing games, a star wars flying game, but what catches my eye is the Guitar Hero game. I lock eyes with Austin and he smiles. 

"Oh you are going down (L/N)." He says. 

"In your dreams Mahone." I say with a smirk. We walk over to the machine to get change, and then walk over to the Guitar Hero game. I put my bag down next to the game and pick up the guitar. 

"What song do you want to do?" Austin asks as he puts the money in the game for both of us. 

"Hm, that is up to you." I tell him as I adjust the strap on the guitar. He scrolls through all the songs and then chooses the hardest song of all. Through the Fire and Flames by Dragonforce. 

"I will go easy on you." Austin says. 

"Mhmmm." I say. Austin selects his difficulty, hard. I choose my difficulty, medium.

The song starts and I am starting off strong. Austin is struggling a little bit. The song starts to pick up, Austin is missing notes left and right. I am missing some, but not much.

"Haha I am winning." I brag.

"Not for long!" Austin says.

 Man I forgot how hard this song was. I start messing up a lot. 

But soon I recover and get in my groove again. We are almost finished the song, Austin and I are so close in score, but he is in the lead. 

I mess up the final passage and Austin wins.

"Aw man." I say with a pouty face. He leans over and kisses me. 

"Round 2?" He asks. 

"You're on." I say as I put another dollar into the game.

Something tells me we are going to be here for a while.
