Austin and I pull into his driveway and see all the cars parked outside of my house. Man this is a lot of people! He walks around and opens up the passenger door for me.
"Are you ready?" He asks me as he grabs my hand.
"Yes I am." I say, we start walking towards my house and inside. Once we get inside everyone starts congratulating me. I walk around and talk with everyone that is there. Austin goes and finds the crew while I help my mom put the sandwiches on the platter. Then I see the Lowes walk (Remember them, my cousins from Texas) I walk over to them.
"You guys came all the way from Texas?" I ask them.
"Yes, we couldn't miss your graduation." My aunt says to me as she hugs me and hands me a card.
"Thank you so much for coming!" I say to them. I see Alyssa looking around like she is looking for something or someone. "Hi Alyssa, how are you?" I say to her as I give her a hug.
"I'm okay, I would rather be back in Texas with my boyfriend, but I guess its okay being here. Congratulations by the way." She says as she hugs me back.
"You have a boyfriend now?" I ask her.
"Yes his name is Harry, he is really amazing." She tells me while smiling.
"That's awesome for you, I am happy for you." I tell her. She looks at me in the eyes.
"Listen, everything that happened between us back in Texas, I am really sorry. I was a jerk and I shouldn't have done that to you. Especially since you are my family." She says as she grabs my hand.
"It's okay, thank you for apologizing. It really means a lot." I say to her. She pulls me into another hug. I feel an arm wrap around my waist. I look and see Austin. I smile.
"Hi Austin, it is really good to see you. You guys are really cute together." She says and smiles.
"Hi Alyssa, thank you so much for that." He says as he kisses my cheek. He hugs Alyssa.
"Well I am going to go find some food. Enjoy your party (Y/N)." She says as she walks towards the kitchen.
"What was that about?" Austin asks as he turns to me.
"She actually apologized for everything that happened in Texas and she told me she has a new boyfriend." I tell him. His jaw drops.
"Wow that is shocking!" He says. I laugh.
"I know right." I say.
"Well lets go and socialize." He says as he grabs my hand and walks me toward the backyard where everyone is partying.
- After the party -
Austin and I are now laying upstairs in my room watching a movie.
"Today was really great, thank you for making it so special." I say while I play with the bracelet around my wrist.
"You deserve it. You worked hard to get to where you are now." He says as he starts to run his fingers through my hair. I smile and he kisses my forehead.
"I think I know what I want to get a degree in." I say to him, he raises his eyebrows.
"What is that?" He asks.
"I think I am going to major in business, and open up my own salon." I say.
"You have been wanting to do that since you were younger, I am happy you decided to do that love." He says.
"I am too, Sarah and I leave for school on August 23rd." I tell him. He nods his head.
"Listen we have to talk about something." He says. I sit up and look at him, he kind of looks upset.
"What's going on?" I ask him.
"So, Rocco and I have been working really hard on trying to get this new record out. While working on this record a great opportunity has come up." He says, and then lets out a sigh.
"What is the opportunity?" I ask as I grab his hand.
"A U.S tour." He says.
"Oh my gosh Austin that is amazing for you! This is what you have been working towards! Congratulations!" I say excitedly, I give him a huge kiss.
"Thank you, but there is something else." He says.
"What is that? I ask him.
"The tour leaves in July. It will be 6 months long." He says quietly.
"6 months wow. That's really amazing! Who will you be touring with. I am so excited for you." I say a little less enthusiastic as when he told me. Truth is I am pretty upset that he will be leaving for so long, and he wont be able to help me move into college. But I can't let him know that, this is a BIG opportunity for him and he needs to take it.
"I'll be the headline, Fifth Harmony will be opening for me. But babe, I can tell something is on your mind. Talk to me." He says as he rubs my back.
"It's really nothing, I am just super excited for you!" I say. I stand up and walk over and grab my pajamas so I can change into them.
"(Y/N), be honest. I want to know how you really feel." He says as he stands up and walk towards me, wrapping his arms around my waist from behind.
"It's just... you won't be there to help me move in. I want this for you I do. What does this mean for us? It is only 6 months I know, I am going to miss you. I will be at college I can't drop everything and come with you." I say and let out a huge sigh.
"Nothing is going to happen between us. I know I won't be here. But I will call you every single day, Facetime you every night that I can. Be there for you as much as I can, because I really can't imagine a life without you." He says as he grabs my hand. He takes his free hand and wipes the tear away from my eyes. I didn't even realize that I was crying.
"Promise?" I say.
"I promise with my life." He says. Today is June 1st, so that gives us a month to spend together before he leaves.
"Let's make this the best month of our lives." I say to him with a smile.
"Of course." He says. He leans down and kisses me. Things get heated fast. Soon we are in the bed. You can guess where things went after that.
