Zrage

Someone tap my shoulders and I jolted from my sit.

"Zrage, kami na muna ang magbabantay. We bought soup so you can eat"

"Thank you but i'm good" I politely declined

"Kahapon ka pa nagbabantay sa kanya, agahan lang ang kinain mo kahapon" mom said

"I'm going to eat in here"

They both nodded their heads as I get the restaurant's take-out bag. Hindi kami nagtagal sa loob, our time is only limited. She's in the ICU and we can't do something to make our stay longer, it's in the rules.

For weeks she's still in coma. And the scratches slowly fades, her beauty started to steal everyone who can see her sleeping like this. She's a beaut and I can't stop myself to say it everyday.

"Kami na ang bahala kay Fall, sa'min na muna siya" dad said when he got out of his car and tap my shoulder

I nodded my head and get in the car again before I made my way to the building.

"Good afternoon po sir" JK greeted with a nervous smile in his face

He'll gonna ask again about Summer like he always do every time he greets me, and when he can catch me leaving the building. He's hoping that she'll wake up soon

"S-sir" he stuttered

"Not yet" I answer in my monotone voice, he sighed and nodded his head before walking back to seat on his chair without strength.

Seeing him felt like this made me the worst villain. Everyone loves the protagonist and i'm the antagonist.

"Dude!"

I don't need to looked who's calling me. Wade closes the door and sit on the couch

"Wala akong magawa sa opisina, inom tayo"

I gave him a stern glare that made him raise his hands in the air

"I got it. But, naisip ko lang mag-pa-paternity test ka kaya?"

I stop from walking to my desk and glanced at him

"I'm serious"

Hindi ko na uli siya pinansin at umupo na sa swivel chair. Ang dami ng mga files na naka-stack at e-mails from different departments boss', pati na rin sa mga kliyente. Isang araw lang akong hindi nakatrabaho, ang dami na namang pipirmahan at i-re-review at approve.

"You're done taking the DNA test but paternity test hindi pa. Alam mo na para kapag ayos na si Summer wala ng problema."

"Did you think i'm faking the test?" I raise my brows to him and he just smirk

"Who knows"

"Asshole"

"Seryoso nga ako. Aba malay mo nagkamali lang pala ang doktor sa pagkuha ng test at ng resulta. Dito mapapatunayan kung hindi mo talaga siya anak, hindi ikaw ang ama"
