I opened my eyes to the bright sunshine blaring through the thin shades on the windows. It was finally morning. I didn't sleep much the night before due to the thoughts that cluttered my mind.

Today was the wedding.

I turned on my side to check the time. It was almost noon which meant the wedding would start in about an hour. Not that it really mattered to me because there was no way I was going.

I finally found the strength to pull myself up and out of bed. I dragged my feet as I walked to the bathroom, dreading what I was about to see in the mirror. I flipped on the light and almost gagged as I saw my reflection. The bags under my eyes were very prominent and stained with leftover eyeliner that had smeared from all my tears. My eyelashes were clumped together with last night'a mascara and my hair was an absolute tangled mess. I pulled a comb roughly through the chaos of my locks trying to make it less of a birds nest, slightly wincing at the pain.

During my attempt at untangling, there was a slight knock at my door. I decided to ignore it because it was more than likely somebody I did not want to speak to. Well technically, I didn't want to speak to anybody. Eventually the knocking happened again, and again, each time getting louder but I still chose to ignore it. They would have to leave anyways.

Five minuets had past and the knocking was gone. I sighed in relief then continued to clean myself up. Just as I was finishing up washing my face, my phone started to ring. I glanced at the caller ID and grimaced but decided to answer it anyways.

"Lola?"

"Hey. Can you please answer your door? It's important." She said.

"Can it wait?" I groaned.

"Uh, no. It has to be now. I'm sorry."

"Fine. I'll answer it." I said, hanging up the phone.

Literally seconds after I sat my phone back down there was the knock again on my door. I took a deep calming breath before walking over to answer it.

"What?" I asked rather rudely, then immediately regretting it due to the fact that Lola was not the person standing in front of me. "Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you were going to be Lola."

"Yeah I know." Niall mumbled. "I has her call you because I knew you would answer the door if you thought it was her."

"Oh. Well, did you forget to pack something? You can come in if you want." I offered awkwardly.

"No. I just came here to talk, really."

"There isn't time. You have to get to the wedding." I told him.

"I know. But, that's what I'm here to talk to you about.

"Oh. Well, if it's to tell me that I'm not invited anymore well you don't have to worry about that. I'm not going."

"No, that's not why I'm here. Can you just let me talk please?" Niall said. I could tell he was starting to get irritated.

"Sorry." I mumbled.

"I didn't get much sleep last night. I was up thinking about... Everything. And I came to a realization."

"And that would be?"

"You love Zayn and Zayn loves you. I remember being able to see it in his eyes whenever he looked at you. I didn't realize what it was then but now I do. And even though I still love you, I want you to be happy. And I think you should go and be with him. Not Perrie."

"It's too late Niall." I whispered, trying not to cry.

"But it's not. You still have time. Not much but I'm sure it's enough. If he loves you, he won't go through with it. Trust me."

"I have no way of getting there on time. And I look like fucking shit."

"There is a car waiting for you downstairs. And you look beautiful. Like always." He said, mumbling the last part.

I leaned forward and grasped Niall in a tight hug. "I love you, Niall. I really do. Thank you for everything." I whispered in his ear, then planting one last kiss on his soft lips.

"I love you, too. Now get going before it's too late."

------------------

"There! Pull up there!" I yelled at my driver.

"Ma'am, we can't just park anywhere."

"Just do it, please."

It took us almost no time to get to the wedding venue. Guests were already inside and seated, which meant my time was almost out. Once the car had come to a stop, I flung myself out of the car and made a b-line to the entrance.

"Ma'am, we are going to have to see your invitation." A large man said, stopping me before I could enter.

"My name is on the list! Just let me in."

"Name?"

"Megan-"

"I'm sorry. But we were ordered to not let anyone named Megan inside the establishment. You're going to have to leave."

"I'm not going anywhere." I snapped.

I looked around the building but saw no other way in. Just swarms of paparazzi and security.

"We will call the police if you don't leave the premisses. Please, just do this the easy way."

"Fine, call the police because I'm not-" before I could finish my sentence I saw a tall quiff of dark hair pass just in front of me. "Zayn!"

He spin around, his eyes locking directly on mine. "Zayn! Please!" I yelled. He put his fingers up to his lips to shush me then rushed over to where I was.

"Megan? What the hell are you doing here?"

"I can't let you do this Zayn. I'm not going to let you be with her."

"I'm sorry, I don't know what you're talking about." He mumbled.

"For fucks sake Zayn! Don't go through with it. I love you! Please, don't do this to me. Don't do this to yourself." I screamed.

He said nothing to me. He just stood there at me and stared.

"Don't you love me?" I asked, my voice breaking.

I saw him look at me, then around at his surroundings. Tears started to flow down my face as I kept trying to beg him to come with me. But he never looked back at me once. He just looked at the hundreds of photographers that were capturing our discussion.

He was too concerned with the flash of the lights.

"I'm sorry." He whispered, still not looking me in the eye. "You have to leave, Megan."

"But-"

"I said leave." His voice was stern, but his eyes showed pain, weakness.

"I hate you. You're a coward." I said, my voice hardly audible, before giving up and walking back to the car.
