I shifted my weight so I was no longer leaning against Zayn who was practically speechless at the moment.

"Perrie, I know this is going to sound cliché but it's not what it looks like." I spoke. She crossed her arms over her chest but still didn't speak. All she did was glare.

"Perrie, listen to me." Zayn finally broke his silence. "Megan just got back from the hospital and Niall is out with Harry. I offered to have her chill here for a little bit so she wouldn't be alone. She might need something."

"Well doesn't she have a phone? She could have called you if she did."

"Well yes but the doctor said to keep an eye on her."

"Oh right!" She said, throwing her arms up in the air. "I forgot you were her hospital buddy the entire time she was admitted. Didn't leave her side once did you? Well, excuse me. I guess it didn't register in my mind that you were now her caregiver also."

"I stayed with her because I was responsible for what happened! It was the right thing to do." He argued. I opened my mouth to speak but decided it was best to not. So, I sat awkwardly in silence as they continues to argue.

"It's not my fault that you had to tag along with her and try to be a hero."

"Yeah and then instead of being here right now we would be at her funeral." He spit, his words making me flinch.

"That would be better than coming into my fiancés living room and finding him cuddled up to her on the couch!"

"Perrie, please." I interrupted and quickly cooked up a lie. "I was feeling sick so I leaned over onto him. I'm sorry. I should have just went back to my room and laid down."

"Yeah, you should have."

"Baby, please. Nothing is going on here. Please just let it go." Zayn pleaded.

Perrie stood there for a minuet still glaring at the two of us before she finally sighed and relaxed her arms.

"Fine. I'm sorry I freaked out. It was just a normal response to something like that I guess but I probably shouldn't have jumped to conclusions."

"It's okay. Well, I think it's time for me to leave." I said, quickly getting up. I didn't want to be in here one more minuet. "So thank you Zayn for looking after me and again sorry Perrie."

"Oh, let me walk you to your room. It's the least I could do." She offered.

"Oh, no. It's okay, really."

"Well, the doctor did say that we needed to keep an eye on you. So it's practically mandatory." She smirked, throwing Zayn's words back at me.

"Well, alright then. Bye Zayn." I say him wave weakly at me, his face worried, before Perrie shut the door behind us.

We walked in silence down the short way to my room which I was more than ecstatic to get to at this point.

"Well, thank you for walking me-"

"Cut the shit." She interrupted me.

"Excuse me?"

"I'm not fucking stupid. I know that was all bullshit in their." She hissed.

"Perrie, I swear we weren't lying."

"Listen Megan, I don't give a shit if you just lost your kid, I don't care that your dad beat you to a pulp, I don't even care that you almost died. What I care about is Zayn. And you better stay away from him. Do you understand me? He's mine." She said, bringing her hand up and showing me her ring for emphasis. "And soon, he will be mine forever. So I suggest you fuck off now. Or else."

"You won't do shit." I hissed.

"Oh, my dear, don't underestimate me. I could ruin you and your shit band."

"You're a bitch." I said through my teeth.

"And you're a whore. Now that we have that settled, I'll be seeing you around. Goodbye Megan." Perrie smirked then walked away, leaving me speechless in the hallway.
