"Hey Bakugou?"

There was no response, but Kirishima knew he had heard.

"I'm going out for a minute, I'll be back!"

"Mmhm."

Kirishima sighed and turned around, opening and closing the door, then locking it. He made sure to stay absolutely silent as he snuck up to the bedrooms.

He hid in a hall closet and pulled out his phone, texting Bakugou after a minute or two.

Hey Baku, I probably won't be back before noon. Please eat something

Kirishima raised an eyebrow, listening hard for the sound of his door opening.

It didn't happen.

He bit the inside of his cheek, pulling his phone out again.

Did you eat a good lunch?

Yeah

Kirishima sighed.

What'd you have?

What's it to you?

Kirishima reread the text, then slowly put his phone away and sank to the floor.

Where are you anyway

It's been like an hour

Kirishima read the messages, then left the closet. He went back downstairs and unlocked the door, opening and closing it.

"I'm home!"

After a moment, Bakugou trudged downstairs. Kirishima finally realized how much thinner he looked.

"Hey," he muttered, wrapping his arms around Kirishima's torso.

Kirishima plastered on a fake-but-believable smile.

"Hi baby."
