Billions of dollars are spent in America every year on R-rated movies. Each weekend, people throng to the latest violent blockbuster and plunk down their cash for entertainment.
Meanwhile, the view in other areas of America is hardly "entertaining." Churches can barely stay above water financially because so few people tithe, and some needy families only get help when their story reaches the six o'clock news.
Is it any surprise our nation is in trouble?
If we gave as generously yo God as we do to our entertainment, imagine the people who could be helped.
God promises a curse to the nation that cheats Him, but the blessings that come with generous giving can hardly be imagined.
Let's start the blessing today.
Lord, entertainment isn't anything compared to You. Help me give to You first, not last.
