Feel as if no one ever trusts you? God does.
Not only did He bring you to faith in Him, He entrusted you with the important task of passing it on to others, too.
If Christians never shared the faith, where would the good news be? Should all Christians stop witnessing, destroy their Bibles, and disobediently ignore the trust God has given them, in a short time the world would be even worse than it is today. How many people would know what God has said?
During the early Middle Ages, Irish monks on the island of Iona carefully copied the scriptures. While continental Europe was torn by political unrest and few people could pass on the Word, they painstakingly copied it letter by letter, keeping it alive. Because of their faithful efforts, we have the testimony of God's Word today.
Who needs to see or hear the gospel your life can pass on today?
Lord, I want to share Your good news today. Show me someone who needs to hear it.
