I was absolutely knackered from the meetings, but there was a slight reprieve from the madness of the handover. Two days before the boys left for their break with their families, we held a meeting for the concept of their next full album. It was uncharacteristically short but we did manage to cover all the ground we needed to. The girls were due back the next day for their own concept meeting and I wanted to surprise them.

Reaching home, I rummage through my supplies and find that I have the makings of their favourite cupcake. I decided to make it simple, without any toppings and frostings. I put on lounge music as I put together the ingredients. Having left the oven on for preheat, my apartment start to become a little stuffy from the heat of the oven so I open the window to air it out.

As I wait for the cupcakes to cook, I look up the poem Eun Mi was talking about just before she left for her vacation. I print it out and stick on my notice board beside my desk.
