I married her.

I sighed idly and closed my eyes tight.

Being married with her isn't really fit for me, she's not some random girl I know.

"Happy married birthday, 'ya Minth!" halakhak ni Phallius.

"Gago!" tawa ni Kurt.

"Hindi pa siya nag-imbita, mind you. So plastik!" Zarjiel rolled his eyes sluggishly as he drank his beer in can.

"Hindi naman daw espesyal," si Kurt sabay hagis ng isang popcorn at salo sa kanyang bibig.

Nagkibit ako ng balikat at ngumisi ng tipid. "Yeah, nothing's special, really. That's not a real wedding, so..."

Why would I invite them? Mm, I somehow did that on purpose. Bukod sa ayaw kong naroon si Bronson ay kasama na rin doon na hindi ko ramdam ang kasal na iyon dahil hindi naman tunay at kasunduan lamang. If it wasn't just for my sister, I wouldn't have to marry her. Marrying someone is not a simple thing, but in this family... I doubt what's simple for them.

My father just decided for Feather's life and that's to marry someone she doesn't like but could provide her future. It got me real frustrated and upset, so here I am, placing myself in her supposed to be situation. I treasure my sister so much, I want her to do things she would want in this life and being married is a big cage, pero ayos lang namang makulong ako, hindi ako lugi dahil ako ang lalaki.

"Well, Cade Andrada is a good catch." ani Bronson. "She's like wild wind, in innocent disguise."

Shit, good shit. This friend don't just forget, huh.

"She's somewhat hot innocent!" sambit ni Kurt. "I once saw her in their home, Minther was a fucking shmuck to her but she just followed his want."

"What? Seriously, man? Dapat ikaw ang nagpapaalipin sa ganoong asawa, hindi ikaw ang masusunod!" ani Bronson.

"Bading nga 'yan!" si Phallius. "Dapat sa'yo nalang, Son, 'no? Edi sana, baby tawag sayo ni Andrada."

Nagtawanan sila. I blanched a bit.

"Ulol, ayoko baby! Queen ang itatawag ko sa kanya, bagay sa kanya o kaya Prinsesa ko." halakhak ni Bronson.

This assface. Who does he think he's talking about, huh? Sa naririnig ko pa talaga niya pinagpapantasyahan ang asawa ko?

Napaismid ako. "And you're fantasizing about someone's wife, huh?"

Can't believe they're actually having crush on Areial. We were schoolmates back in grade school, and all I know was Bronson's admiration for her. Not these three, even my cousin.

I didn't invite Bronson on my wedding, that's the reason. Hindi ko na rin ininvite ang iba para lang hindi makahalata si Bronson doon. But they all knew, I'd be married in this age. Hindi nga lang sila interesado noon sa kasal ko kaya hindi sila nagtanong kung sino ang magiging asawa ko, ngayon alam na nila at ganitong mga komento ang maririnig ko? Heck.

"Booo! Fantasizing, my foot! Parang hindi mo naman pinagpapantasyahan?" mapanuyang ani Kurt.

"Lul," ismid ko lang.

Of course, not... yes, no I don't fancy her.

She's pretty but not completely. Mayroon pa akong hindi makita sa kanya na makakapagpahanga sa akin ng lubusan. Or maybe, she's just so plain white that's why I can't see anything special. Kahit na nasa iisang bubong kami ay para siyang patay at lantang bulaklak.

She don't like me.

I got her first kiss, by the way. Hindi ko sigurado kung ako nga, pero inaasahan ko na ako dahil hindi naman siya marunong humalik o baka hindi lang naturuan ng mabuti. It was weird, I just didn't expect a Maria Clara in this generation.
