Dragging my feet to our shared apartment, I lunged my weight over each step, one leg at a time. The staircase was partially frozen due to the melted snow, creating an obstacle course riddled with safety hazards for my clumsy, uncoordinated ass.

This day has been exhausting. Between the stern warning from Bang PD, and the conversation with Namjoon that drained my soul, I was looking forward to resting in my own bed.

My thoughts drifted to Namjoon's bed and how it felt with his warmth against me. His lips kissing my head as he took me in, the smell of his fresh pajamas as I buried my face into his comforting chest, his fingers intertwined with mine as we lay there together, not knowing where either of us started or ended.

Why do I miss him so much?

I shook my head, mentally slapping myself across the face, a reminder that he was dead to me. No matter how much I missed his arms around me.

Eventually, I reached my apartment door and entered the code on the handle like I have so many times before. The music that congratulated my successful entry rang loudly as I wiggled the door handle to let myself in.

"Hanna, I don't wanna hear it. I'm way too tired and—"

My jaw dropped to the floor, almost as harshly as my bag hit the wooden panels. Standing in the middle of my living room was this grinning man with his signature crescent shaped eyes. He beamed brightly at me with satisfaction, like he was expecting an award. And despite all my efforts of restraint, my heart skipped a beat.

"Wha—What are you doing here?"

"Hey, where are your manners? It's Jimin 'oppa' right?" He flashed his perfectly lined teeth like he was filming a toothpaste commercial. After a closer look, however, I realised they weren't all perfectly lined. He had one slightly crooked one, perfectly obscured. That's when I realised I had been staring at him for far too long.

Crossing my arms I tried to exude the most menacing stance I could manage. Extremely aggravated, I have had enough of these boys.

"Sunbae if you don't tell me right now, I'm reporting you for breaking and entering."

"Woah! Alright, alright!" Flailing his arms in the air as a sign of surrender, I released my breath and finally relaxed my shoulders. That is, until he flopped himself onto the couch, putting his leg up like it was his own damn home.

This son of a bitch.

"I was just spending time with Hanna, you know since I'm taking her to the ball and everything.." He said, stretching his limbs out like a slinky cat about to take a nap.

"What?"

I gave the man a double take. My eyebrows shot up to my forehead, eyes widened in sarcastic amazement.  Appaled is probably the more accurate adjective.

"Yeah, didn't Hanna tell you?" This poor man was genuinely clueless. Clueless that he was one fact bomb away from getting drop kicked. "We're going to the Valentine's Day Gala together."

"Get out."

Ignoring me, Jimin sunbae maintained a twinkle in his eyes as he enthusiastic started to tell me about his day. "Yeah, we just went dress shopping today—"

"Jimin sunbae.. Out. Now."

I quietly hissed this through my gritted teeth, but he got the memo. Almost jumping off the couch, he abruptly headed towards the door to put his shoes on and leave, but not before giving me a peck on the cheek and patting my head like a little dog.
