Chapter 20 - Too Dangerous 🔥

"I can't go, I have no idea what to wear!"

It was the day that Taehyung and I agreed on for our date, and I was drowning in a sea of my clothes. He hadn't told me what we were doing today, or where we were even going, so it was hard picking an outfit that was both flexible and cute.

"You have to go," assured Hanna, "Didn't Tae just call to say he was on the way?"

"Yeah.." I sighed, still unsure of what I'd wear

I'll just pick the first two things I see and just go with it.

"Exactly," she picked out a dress for me to wear, waving it around the air as a suggestion. "And Jimin said that Tae's always on time, so let's not keep him waiting."

Hearing Jimin's name struck a chord. I still hadn't asked Hanna about her relationship with Jimin, and she has yet to bring it up.

How are you supposed to start that conversation anyways?

"Hey are you sleeping with the guy I may or may not have feelings for?"

Exactly.

As far as she's concerned, I still don't know about her spending the night with him. I've been waiting for her to bring it up but she hasn't said a word. And she normally tells me everything.

"No," I shook my head, "I don't know where we're going, what if we go rock climbing?"

Hanna shrugged, dropping the dress back on the floor.

"About today.." Hanna started. I didn't like her tone, and I knew exactly where this was going.

"Why are you going on a date with V?" She didn't make any eye contact and kept herself busy sifting through my clothes. "Isn't there something going on between you and Namjoon?"

"I already told you, it's not like that with me and him."

Finding a cute over the shoulder top I had forgot about, I decided to just pair that with some leggings and my go-to trench coat.

"Yeah, well just be careful," she said nodding at my choice of clothes,"I think he may be more serious about it than you are."

"That's not true. Namjoon sunbae was the one who made it clear. This is purely a friendship of convenience. He just needs someone there for him.."

I trailed off thinking about the night I had hooked up with Yoongi. Things have been different since Jihye was back, very different.

"Atleast he used to.. He has Jihye now, and.." trailing off I could feel tears forming in my eyes.

Why? Why am I this bothered by it?

"..and Jimin's the one you like?" Hanna said finishing my sentence, arms crossed as she watched me change. We've only been housemates for a little while, but it's as if I've known her my whole life. I hadn't told her about Jimin, even though she knows we've made out on several occasions.

"Come on Y/N, I know you! Do you think I haven't noticed the way you look at him?"

"- and yet knowing that, you still spent the night with him?" I mumbled every word, but I knew she heard me.

Hanna turned pale at my sudden accusation. Her eyes were wide and her mouth open as she was lost for words. She was clearly surprised that I knew about her little sleepover.

"No.. That's.. That day Jungkook-"

"-What?" I interrupted. I was confused at how Jungkook had anything to do with this.
