"Where have you been?! I haven't seen you in days!" Hanna demanded over the speaker.
"I'm sorry, I should've texted you. Work's just been crazy and some things happened.." I swallowed as soon as I said those words, hoping she wouldn't ask.
"Things? What things?!"
Christ.
"Nothing Hanna, okay?" I sighed, mentally asking myself why I ended up rooming with such a nosy friend. Don't get me wrong, I love her to bits, but she's always giving me shit.
"Just work stuff. Can you please bring me my change now?"
"Last time I checked, most jobs don't require you to sleep at your hot boss' home for days on end."
I was an idiot to think she was just going to drop it.
"Well, if you're going to keep ignoring me I'll just go home and get it myself."
"NO! No, no, no, nooooo.. I'll be happy to bring you your things.. Under one condition.."
Of course.
"..introduce me to Jungkook?" I could practically hear her giddiness as she spoke her bias' name.
"Alright fine, just be quick.." As I hung up the phone, I wasn't sure if I should have agreed to her request. Surely, loud Hanna meeting Kookie was not going to go down well.
"She sounds fun," smiled Namjoon.
"I guess that's one way to put it.." I sighed as I nuzzled my face into his chest. We had been cuddling all night, staying up and just talking. I breathed in and relished the scent I had gotten used to after all these hours. He smelt like home, and he was my center.
"Thanks for staying the night Y/N" I felt his chest vibrate as he spoke. His fingers were running through my hair, caressing my scalp. I didn't need to look up to know he was smiling.
"You don't have to keep thanking me sunbae," Pinching his dimple as I got up. "It was nice for me too."
"Where are you going?" Namjoon shot up in confusion.
"It's nearly 7.30," I checked my phone as I put my heavy coat on, ready to brave the harsh winter weather, "I need to attend that choreography session, and you are needed at the recording studio."
"Shit! I almost forgot," Jumping up from his bed, he frantically combed his hair back to look half decent. "Suga is going to kill me."
Chuckling as I left him and the room behind me, I stopped in my tracks when I reached the kitchen.
Jin was sitting on the bench, eating a bag of potato chips while on his phone, when he noticed my presence.
"Been here all night?" He teased with a cheeky grin, eyes never leaving the screen.
"Hey, Y/N wait up- woah!" As if on cue, Namjoon ran into my frozen frame.
"Oh hey hyung, we were just-"
"I know."
"We weren't-"
"I know."
"We're just friends,"
"Got it."
His unwaivering smile made me blush like a hot tomato. Surely, I was never going to hear the end of this.
"Well, Yoongi's waiting for me so.." the rapper declared, looking at Jin before turning to me, "I'll see you after?"
"Yeah, sure just text me and I'll see you if I'm free." I smiled.
