1 what inspired you to write?

I think ever since I was a child, I loved literature to the point where I was obsessed with books. I believe I have always had an inspiration to write because the first book I ever wrote was called The Unicorn and the Jelly Bean Island which I wrote in Kindergarten. But I never really took my writing career seriously until I read The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton and learned she published her book at seventeen. That inspired me to write something I was truly proud of and try my hardest to publish it.

2 what's your favorite aspect of Wattpad?

My favorite aspect of Wattpad would probably have to be their awards and publishing system. They allow anyone to join in a healthy competition that could help your book be noticed, it helps the diamonds in the rough. I also really love how you can publish whatever you want on Wattpad; if you want to be an author or you just want to write for fun, Wattpad is certainly the right place to go.

3 who is your favorite author outside Wattpad?

My favorite author outside of Wattpad is definitely Victoria Aveyard, the author of the Red Queen series. Her writing style is very intriguing and her characters do really come to life. It really starts to strip the characters of all the personalities that they hide behind and show the true them.

 4 what's a tip you'd give a newcomer?

Read and write. A lot. Learn from others and don't feel as if you are limited to only Wattpad writers. Explore different writing styles and develop your own. Make sure whatever you write is something that you love. The contents of the book really don't matter, as long as you love creating the world for your own unique characters.

5 what's your favorite holiday and why?

Halloween. I LOVE Halloween. It's a time where you can be whatever you want and explore different personalities. Plus, I do really enjoy all the horror movies that come out around that time of year.

6 what's your favorite book?

I really love the Red Queen series by Victoria Aveyard, but if I had to choose one of those books it would have to be Kings Cage. It really strips the characters of all the personalities that they hide behind and shows the true them.

7 how would you celebrate a publishing deal?

I would probably scream of joy to be completely honest. I would definitely call my best friend/sister Paris and just thank her nonstop. She is definitely the one that truly is my proofreader. She helps me develop my characters, my setting, helps with my realism. She is a huge role in my writing process.

8 if you could hang out with your favorite celeb for a day, who would you choose and what would you do?

Jennifer Lawrence and we would probably go see a comedy film and then eat at a cheap restaurant. She seems like someone I could really get along and crake jokes with. She's just an overall chill person...who has a bow and arrow set in her trunk!

9 Are you still surprised when you gain a new vote, follower or comment?

Definitely. It puts a smile on my face when I see someone voted, followed me, or left a comment. I'm still surprised people like my books that I have published, especially when most of them are collecting dust in my works. It truly makes my day and I internally thank everyone who does.

10 what's a song you enjoy? Who is the artist?

Trouble by Halsey. I love Halsey's songs in general, but this one really speaks to me. I love the melody and how it masks such negative words in a beautiful voice and piano notes. It is definitely my top writing song.

11 what's your daily writing routine?

First, I grab a drink and a snack. Then, I put on my writing playlist on Spotify and re-read the last chapter I wrote to get in the correct mindset. Then, I just write. I don't restrict myself to a time-frame. If I write for three hours I wrote for three hours if I write for an hour I wrote for an hour. It helps me maintain my ideas so I don't mess up in the timeline or any realism details I might overlook.

 Request time!

My book, Masquerade, is about a girl who moves into a house and finds out that the previous owner's daughter has been missing for three months. It's a mystery, so if you like those then I would love it if you showed Masquerade some love! Thank you!
