1 What's your daily writing routine?

I'm currently still in the planning/outlining process so I try to spend around 2 hours every day jotting down my ideas and fixing plot holes and such. When I get to the writing part, I try to get at least one paragraph down before I go to sleep every night.

2 What is one piece of advice you'd give a newcomer?

Don't rush it and don't worry the quality in your first draft. It's called the first draft for a reason. Use the first draft as a way to flesh out your story completely. Figure out the sequence you want things and make sure you don't have too many plot holes. And once you're done with the first draft, you can go back and fix all those mistakes you've done before. Rewriting and editing exists for a reason.

3 What's the best thing about Wattpad?

I guess the best thing about writing on Wattpad is the community of authors and friends who support you and are willing to give advice or constructive criticism for your writing.

4 What's your favorite holiday and why?

Probably my birthday because... it's my birthday XD If my birthday doesn't count as a holiday, then it's Chinese New Year.

5 What's your favorite song? Whose the artist?

I don't really have a favorite song. I guess the song that I've been listening to the most recently would be Little Me by Little Mix. It's so goooooddd!

6 If you could gain advice from your favorite author, who would you choose and what would you ask?

I would ask Brandon Sanderson (he's such a genius omg) how he manages to do world-building so beautifully.

7 If you got a publishing deal, how would you celebrate?

OMG Now that would be the dream XD I would probably celebrate with my family and friends and I would spam all of my online friends with the news. Maybe throw a few celebratory giveaways and thank EVERYONE for being so hella supportive <3

8 What's your favorite snack?

Ferrero Rochers XD I also love me some sour cream and onion pringles.

9 What inspired you to write?

I started writing actually in the 9th grade when I had to do a creative writing project. The project initiated a series of ideas that I wanted to write into a book. I love to read and I always imagined how I would write a book in a way that I wanted things to turn out, and here we are today!

10 What is your favorite book?

My favorite series of all time is the Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson. I guess I would pick the first book of the trilogy Mistborn: The Final Empire as my favorite.

11 If you could spend the day with your favorite celeb, who would you choose and what would you do

I don't really follow a lot of celebrities. I would probably spend the day with one of my favorite authors (probably Brandon Sanderson or James Patterson tbh) and maybe go to a Starbucks, talk and chill and maybe hit up a few bookstores.

request time!

One of the books that I'm working on right now is called Rebel Born. It's the first book of a sci-fi/action trilogy! I already finished the first draft of the book, and I started writing the second draft. However, 6 chapters in, I decided I want to re-outline the whole thing again, which is what I'm doing right now.

Rebel Born is about a world where a thing called the Syndicate Project was introduced to help fight and prevent an increasing crime rate. The country is split into Sectors based money and the Sector you live in is based on your income. The main character, Amelia Walker, joins a Syndicate and she soon finds out that something more sinister is at work.
