1 What's one piece of advice, you'd give newcomers?

Newcomers should look to form friendships with other writers on the platform. It might seem strange, but that's often the key to finding readers as well. Join book clubs. Comment and interact with other more well-known writers. Look for ways to connect in meaningful ways.

2 Do you have any other creative outlets?

I spent most of my time reading and writing. I had a mild addiction to PaintNitefor a little while. Thankfully, that's passed. :)

3 What do you enjoy most about Wattpad?
The best part about Wattpad is the people I've met. I have made several friendships on here that have pushed me to write more, have encouraged me, and have rejoiced in my improvement.

4 What's your favorite movie?

My favorite movies are probably Dirty Dancing, Pretty Woman and Notting Hill. I'vewatched them a bazillion times.

5 Who's your favorite author outside Wattpad?

For years, my favorite author outside Wattpad was Margaret Atwood. But I read a lotof different books and genres now. I'm a teaching, so I'm always looking forsomething interesting to recommend to my students or a new book to teach.

6 What's your favorite season?

My favorite season is fall. We even named one of our daughters Autumn.

7 What one of your favorite snacks?

Anything chocolate. You can never go wrong with chocolate.

8 What's one wattpad goals?

I'd love to crack a million reads. One of my stories has gotten to 500,000 in sixmonths, so I'm hoping that million read goal won't prove impossible.

9 How would you spend a rainy day?

My favorite way to spend a rainy day is in bed with a good book.

10 What's one of your favorite songs? Who's the artist?

Right now, I have a playlist for my book Retribution that is on repeat as Iwrite. It's got songs from Marshmello, The Weeknd, Bazzi, and Camila Cabello.

11 What is your favorite book?

I'm not a re-reader, but I have read The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood morethan once and Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire more than once. Those bookshave almost nothing in common.

Request time!

Bythe time this is posted, I'll have completed my most recent novel Retribution. If you like mystery, a strong female protagonist, hot men, and a healthy doseof suspense, you'll probably love it.
