We tap our underworld pass cards and went inside an elevator glass papunta sa pinaka-underground ng building na pinasukan namin. I can see our Damon's masks and cloaks through the glass. This is a disguise for the underworld. You have to be unknown, or should I say anonymous. Kaming dalawa lang ang pumunta sa underworld because it is too risky.
Underworld. Nahahati ito sa lima pero wala silang pinagkaiba. It was divided because of the number of mafia members in different places. But this underworld is different because Royal family holds this. They are the ones who are managing this.
There, nakita namin ni Damon ang mga naglalaro ng baraha but with a twist. Nakakadena ang isang kamay habang ang isa ay pang bunot sa baraha, if you lose, a knife will cut your hand's flesh. Sa gawing kanan ko ay ang mga naglalaro ng darts. But guess what, they are targeting a real human being. Sa tabi nun ay ang mga nakasuot na headgears na bumabaril.
Sa bandang dulo seems like a mini bar because of those bartenders and wines that they offer to the mafia members. And they are also offering drugs. Sa lahat ng clans at underworld, eto lang ang bukod tangi na nagbebenta ng droga. Mostly mafia purposes is to sell and trade weapons.
At ang pinakagitna na hinihintay at pinapanood dito. Ang combat tournament. This is a deadly tournament dahil ang main goal dito ay patayin ang kalaban mo. This is why the underworld is very illegal because it doesn't have a permission from the Royal Family and the Elders. Or do they?
"The combat tournament will start in 10 minutes. Let's here a round applause for the first combatees, 14k versus Black Sparrow," anunsyo ng emcee through speakers.
Sa loob ng barrier ay pumasok ang isang lalaki who is none other than Reid. He is wearing a silver with a pinch of black mask, dahil anonymous ang magiging labanan. The crowd put their attention to Reid. Seems like he's always here. He wasn't holding anything that made me gain interest to him.
How will he fight?
As the timer starts, the combat begins. At first, umiilag lang si Reid. The first 5 minutes, iyon lang ang ginagawa niya. Pinapagod niya ang kalaban. That's the usual tactics. Papagurin nila ang kalaban and if napagod na siya, that's his perfect time to attack.
9 minutes. Reid is now attacking the opponent at parang may hawak siya sa daliri but it's too tiny and he's fast for me to see it. Sinugod niya si Sparrow that is currently holding a big metal axe.
6 minutes. "Does he have to kill that man?" I asked Damon. "Yes." He answered habang hindi pinuputol ang pagtitig sa naglalaban. I can see excitement in Reid's eyes. My forehead crumpled nang biglang natumba ang kalaban.
