'Stay safe'
"Get ready." Sabi ng coach namin at ngayon, nakasuot kami ng uniform representing our school. We are wearing dark green and black fitted suit. May mga armas na rin kami. Two daggers and a gun.
Today is the introduction of the squad. The battleship will be having five teams including us.
"Good day everyone. Today is the introduction of all teams from different schools that will be competing for their thrones and the surprise prize. Once again, this is the 2020's 36th Battleship." Rinig ang mga palakpakan after he said that. We are watching on a wide screen. I wonder what's the surprise prize is.
"Noong nakaraan, ang premyo ay isang mansyon na may pera. Ngayon kaya.. ano ang suprise prize?" Tanong ni Carrie.
"Let's first introduce, Rane Academy that gains 10 wins since the first game of the battleship," anunsyo ng emcee as they opened the door welcoming our opponents.
Para kaming nasa isang colosseum. Maraming taong nagchecheer paikot at ang mga nagpapatakbo ng battleship... Royal Family with the Elders.
I observed the students from Rane Academy. They are wearing a black and red fitted suit at lalaki ang nangunguna sa kanila which may be their leader.
"Next is the Villalion Academy with 7 wins," tumingin naman ako sa kakabukas na pinto at doon niluwa ang mga may suot na itim at asul na damit. They all smiled and some of them even smirked. Masyadong proud sa sarili.
"The most dangerous teams among all teams. From Clarkson's University with 11 wins," binuksan nila ang pinto at nangunguna ang lalaking iyon. Tsk.
"Your brother is included? At isang Clarkson?" Takang tanong ni Carrie na ikinailing at kinacross arms ko.
"He's not my brother." I said without breaking my stare at the screen. Nakasuot sila ng black and silver fitted suit. The silver mask guy faced at every camera at nahagip ang gawi namin then he smirked. Hindi niya talaga ako tatantanan.
"He's not your brother?" Takang tanong ni Rye na hindi ko tinignan.
"I'll explain but not now," I said at naghanda na kami dahil kami na ang sunod na tatawagin.
"And last but not the least! Trojan's Academy with 10 wins!" Binuksan nila ang pinto at ang nangunguna sa amin ay si Damon.
The lights are flashing towards our team. I assumed we our live and on news all around mafia's world. Pumuwesto kami sa dapat namin kalagyan at katahimikan ang bumalot sa lahat. We are all waiting for the emcee's announcement.
I roamed my eyes all over. The people are cheering and excited sa magaganap na battleship. Every battleship is different and with full of twists. I wonder what's the twist this season.
Napunta ang mga mata ko sa taas kung saan nakapwesto ang Royal Family and the Elders with guests. So manunuod sila for about five days? Aren't they gonna get bored?
Sa pagmamasid ko, my eyes caught something. No. Someone. A tall man, around 40s, one of the special guests I must say. He's seems so familiar. Iniisip ko kung saan ko siya nakakita o nakilala but no sign of him at my memory.
"I will be indicating the rules and mechanics. The battleship will last for 5 days. 2 daggers and one gun will be given to each participants. May mga weapons na makikita sa field ng battleship. Unahan lang ang mangyayari," he clarified at inilipat ang page ng binabasa niya.

"And oh, regarding the suprise prize and award, it will be announce during or after the battleship so please do listen to the speakers or look carefully to the screens along the battleship field. Thank you and goodluck dear participants." Pahabol niya ulit making our minds even more curious sa suprise prize na 'yan. I do hope it's worth a life.
"Proceed to the elevator para makapunta na kayo sa battleship field. This will serves as your first day in the battleship," sabi niya at nagform ng bilog ang grupo ko.
"It was nice to be a member of this squad. I know all of you will do their best to win so be safe and goodluck," sabi ni Damon at ngumiti ng mapait.
"Yeah. Kilala natin ang isa't isa. Pero I'm still hoping na sana, kumpleto pa rin tayong lalabas," Laila said while looking at Flynn. It's a tough battle for them.
"Be alert and use all the tactics that we 've learned from each other. Sharpen your minds and strengthen your body. Got that?" Veron said in a bossy and ordering tone. We all nodded and started to move.
"Kahit anong mangyari... be safe and be near to me," napalingon ako kay Rye. "Why?" Tanong ko habang naglalakad kami papunta sa elevator. He stopped for a bit at tumingin sa'kin.
"I need to make sure that you are safe and sound," sabi niya at pumuwesto sa tapat ng elevator. May kaniya-kaniya kaming glass elevator.
"I will. So stop worrying." I said at tinignan ang elevator na nasa harapan ko. "Just... stay safe," paalala niya ulit at pumasok na rin ako sa loob ng elevator.
2020's 36th Battleship will officially begin huh.
