'I like you'
I looked at the wall clock. It's quarter 1 am. I released a heavy sigh. Mahimbing ang tulog nila Veron dahil sobrang napagod kami ngayong araw yet I'm still up, thinking if I will go as what Lux said.
Meet me at the northeast ground. 1 am sharp.
I stood up, took a dagger, wear a cloak and went out of the room using the windows. There are cctvs yet as what have Lux mentioned, he will shut it down for a bit at totoo nga. Bumaba ako sa bintana and jump silently onto the ground. I observe the places and it's all clear. I walk silently at doon, nakita ko siya na nakapamulsa ang mga kamay while leaning on the back of the tree.
Madilim na rin, the moon's brightness is enough for me to see him clearly. I observe habang papalapit ako sa kaniya. No siblings. No parents. No eyes. No presence except for the both of us. "I'm glad you come." He said in a low yet still a firm voice. "And I don't know why." Humarap ako sa kaniya as I have said it.
"5 minutes chat will do. Ask." He said while staring at the moon. "What will you do now that you know my plan?" I asked and he smiles while diverting his gaze onto me. "Nothing." He answered na ikinakunot ng noo ko. "Why?" I asked and he chuckles a bit.
"I'm tired of fighting. Besides I've heard mom and dad na hindi nila itutuloy ang pagkokorona sa'kin dahil nalaman nilang buhay ka. I'm a failure to them now." He said in a sad tone. They are going to postpone the coronation for Lux just because I'm alive.
"Then?" I asked further. Imposible na wala siyang plano kahit ano. "They gave me an option. They will pass the throne to Reid, or I'll kill you before the coronation." He said na ikinahawak ko sa dagger ko incase he will suddenly attack me. But he didn't.
"Reid doesn't want the throne neither do I. We are very much tired of fulfilling what our parents wants and needs." He said once again and I didn't utter. Bakit hindi nalang niya diretsyuhin ang mga sasabihin niya? "So?" I said.
"So me and my siblings will escape at the coronation night. The folders and evidences that you might need ay nasa ilalim ng sahig ng kama mo as well as the underworld pass cards incase na gusto niyo silipin ang nangyayari doon." He said and I'm glad that he is helping and confuse of why is he doing this. "You're not fighting or going to kill me?" I asked and he smiles again. What if he's pretending? What if he's setting a trap?
"I told you earlier, I'm tired and you have my blessing on killing my parents." He said na making me look at him. So that's what he means by saying that. "They are still-" I was about to say a word when Lux cut me off.
"They tired to get rid of me. Look Blaise, we have this tradition in our family which me and my siblings are sick of. My parents are lunatic. They will get rid of us all if they needed to basta walang hahadlang sa plano nila." He mentioned. Tradition and plans? Running through their family. Mga hibang na ba sila?
"What plan?" I asked because I need to know everything. I never knew I could talk to Lux like this lalo na't mainit ang dugo ko sa kaniya yet now, naiintindihan ko na lahat. "They are planning to enter the civilization, build a very strong clan, declare wars, and kill innocent people who aren't involve in mafia." He said. How cruel. Paano nilang naaatim na pumatay ng ganoong karami? Mga hari at reyna sila yet they are taking advatange of their power.
"We don't want like that. So I'm giving you the permission to end this all. We will help." He said na ikinatango ko. I know he is saying the truth. I don't know why, siguro dahil may pinagsamahan din kami at nakilala ko siya kahit papaano. Besides, he could have kill me a hundred tims pero hindi niya ginawa. That's enough proof for me.
"I see. Thanks." I said at aalis na sana when he grip my pulse making me stop. "What?" I asked at humarap sa kaniya. He is really different now. Kung naging kaklase niya at kaibigan ang kuya ko, I'm pretty sure he is a good guy before. But now, he is stained by the bloods of those he killed including my clan.
"Aren't you going to ask why I let you live?" He said and I faced him properly habang bumubuntong-hininga. Napaisip din ako sa ganiyan. What are his reasons to let me live? Dahil ba sa kuya ko? Did my brother asked him to spare a life for me? I clearly don't know.
"Why?" I asked casually and he stepped forward na ikinaatras ko. I tighten my grip on the dagger incase he attack me. What is he up to by now?
"I like you." He answered as he stopped closer to me. My eyes widen a bit yet later on I chuckled. I wanted to burst out laughing pero delikado. "Damn, are you for real?" I asked at seryosong lang siya making me stop. He is for real huh.
"Yet I know Rye could take care of you much more than I can so I'm happy with it. Goodluck kid." He said and taps my head as he always do noong magkasama pa kami. So that's the reason. "How about my brother? He is your friend." I asked and he stops as he smiles to me.
"Yeah. We are. And I regret taking his life." He said and once again taps my head and smiles. Hindi na siya nagsalita pa at umalis na. Still I can see sadness written all over his eyes. So he is regreting for all he have done.
