116. To Whom It May Concern (Season 7, episode 12)
We finally get Christopher out of the picture for good! And he goes out in style, let me tell you. He finds out that Lorelai wrote a character reference for Luke to help him maintain custody of April. Clearly this means she's still in love with him, because that's the conclusion that any rational adult would jump to after finding out that his wife was kind enough to help out a friend like that, and so he leaves, not even bothering to answer the phone when he finds out that his father in law has had a heart attack.
High points: Paul Anka is actually pretty funny, but I have never loved that dog as much as I did when he helped Christopher find that letter.
Low points: Christopher is an idiot. And they couldn't have found a better way to work in Melissa McCarthy's pregnancy than Jackson lying about getting a vasectomy?
