*25 weeks pregnant
I FaceTime Jonah. "What do you think of the name Ava?" Jonah asks.
"It's cute, but not for us," I say. "Um Nia?"
"Maybe." "Well then what do you want Lexis?"
"Isabell Anna or Hailey Rae." "Those are cute names."
I hear a knock on the front door. "I'll be back, hold on."
I answer and a man is standing there. "Lexis Bowen?"
"This is she," I say. He hands me a big envelope.
"Have a nice day." "You too."
I close the door and walk back to my phone. "What's that?" Jonah asks.
I shrug and open it. "It's says Miss Lexis Bowen you are to see Mr Jordan Lloyd in court for child custody."
"He's filing for custody? I thought he didn't want to be in her life," Jonah says. "I can't believe this, Jonah I'm going to have to call you back."
I end the FaceTime and call Jordan. "Hello," he answers.
"You're filing for custody?" "Yeah it's my child Lexis."
"Why?" "Because I want my child to know their father."
"You don't even know the gender," I say. "Is it a boy?"
"It's a girl." "Still I want to be there for my daughter," he says.
I roll my eyes and end the call.

*2 weeks later at court
"Good luck I love you," Jonah says. "Thanks love you too bye," I say hanging up.
"Miss Bowen tells us the story of you and Mr Lloyd," my lawyer says. I tell her from how we met, up until when Jordan came to my apartment and told me to abort.
I keep getting questioned. "How many weeks along are you?"
"27 weeks." "And he hasn't been apart of any of it?"
"No he has not." "Your honor Miss Bowen told my client to stay away and he was just following along with it."
Recess gets called. "Watch me get full custody," Jordan says.
I roll my eyes. I'll be the one getting full custody.
I walk back to the court room. "We have made the decision for your unborn baby that Mr Lloyd and Miss Bowen will have joint custody."
Oh no. I have to share my baby with that dumbass Jordan.
I leave the courthouse crying. I call my mom.
"Hello?" "Mom Jordan and I have joint custody," I say.
"Oh honey I'm sorry." "It just sucks because I don't want my daughter to get hurt by him."
