"Where's Dad?" I asked Johnny during soundcheck since I didn't see dad all day
"On his moving stage"
"Why is he up there?"
"He said he needed alone time to think"

"I don't know, I stopped asking why a long time ago, go ahead up yourself, the stairs are over there" he pointed and I went over and went up on the stairs, "Johnny move it out a little farther" Dad said to him not turning to look at him
Once I was on it, it started moving farther out
He was sitting with his legs dangling off the side. I sat down next to him and just sat there in silence.
"I just needed to sit down and relax, alone for a while"
"I can go if you want your alone time"
"No no, stay, I meant alone time away from everyone but you"
"I'm the only one that can interrupt you alone time?"
"Yeah"
"You good?"
"Yeah, I'm good, just needed to sit and think for a while"
I nodded, "it's just I don't get to stop and think about how lucky I am to have the life I have"
"Yeah I don't either"
"I just think about stuff, like what if me and jess never broke up I would have most likely never met you"
"Yeah crazy right"
"I honestly couldn't imagine that"
"Neither can I, i would probably been adopted to another family"
"A normal family"
"Yeah we are far from normal"
"In a good way" he nodded and laughed
"You good?"
I looked at him and then back out into the stadium and then to him again. "Yeah I'm good"
"I don't want tour to end"
"Neither do I"
"It's the greatest feeling when people are singing along to the songs you wrote"
"And through you they all sing to my songs, and I have never experienced something like that"
"What's gonna happen after tour?"
"I honestly don't know, I'm going to go right back in to the studio hopefully"
"You already have ideas?"
"I do, but other things are gonna come up and it will be a couple years before I get it out"
"I want to start acting" I said after a little bit of silence
"You do?"
"Yeah try it out, why not right?"
"You are officially the mini me, you do everything that I do, sing, act, dance"
