What is your name?

My name's Dana 

How old are you?

I'm seventeen

What inspired you to write your first book?

Well I had always wanted to write but didn't think I'd ever really write one, and then I came across a writing website and read some great stories so I thought 'what the heck' right? My first story was actually very cliche but I wanted to test the waters and see if I'm good at writing before writing the stories I REALLY wanted to write.

Who is your favorite author and what is it that really strikes you about their work?

One of my favourite authors is Danielle Steel. Her stories are amazing, realistic and so greatly written u can't put the book down.

What is your favourite theme/genre to write about?

Well I love writing werewolf romance but I've been wanting to try writing historical fiction or suspense lately

Do you see writing as a career?

I really hope so. I love writing and hopefully I can make it a career. Ive always thought about publishing a book or two, but I want to make sure my writing is as good as it can be before I try. 

If you could work with any author who would it be?

I don't really know there are amazing authors and writing with any of them would be great

Do you use real-life facts based on true stories?

I try to use a lot of real life facts and events as much as i can it is kind of funny id be in school or whatever and listening to something and I'd be like "hey, I could write about that" *laughs* my friends want to hit me each time I do that

Did you ever think you'd be, where you are right now?

Well I never expected any of my stories to be this popular, if that's what you mean, and I'm really thankful for all of my fans for giving my stories a chance. I never really wrote expecting people to like my stories, i just wrote for the fun of it. so no I never really thought about it

What advice would you give to people who "run out of creativity" when writing?

Just take a break, and don't push yourself, it happens to all writers so just imagine what would happen if you were your character, what would YOU say, or do and it'll come to you easily.

Do you ever suffer from writer’s block? If so, what do you do about it?

I always suffer from writer's block at least 4 or 5 times while writing a story and I think it happens to all writers so u shouldn't freak out. And when I have writer's block I just take time to myself, go out with my friends or spend time alone and then when I get an idea I open the computer,nreread what I last wrote and continue writing

Do you have any advice for other writers?

My advice to other writers would be to never let anyone convince you that you can't write. If you love writing you shouldn't stop no matter what, there's always room for improvement if you think your writing isn't great. So don't ever stop and write for yourself, not for any other person

Anything fun about yourself you want your fans to know?

Hmm, anything fun about me * taps chin* well I'm extremely clumsy. I literally trip over my own feet and my friends constantly make fun of me for it. You'd be surprised at the amount of bruises I get everyday

How would you describe yourself?

Well I love just having fun and going crazy at times, I'm the person who spontaneously says something out of the blue and everyone looks at me like 'da hell is wrong with that gurl' but my friends are used to my craziness. Hmm, what else? I'm extremely protective of the people I care about so when anyone hurts them they have to deal with me and that's all i can think of for now
