What is your name?

My name is Anna

How old are you?

I'm 29 years old

What inspired you to write your first book?

What inspired me to write was that i ran out of good wattpad stories to read and couldn't find a story that had all the things I enjoyed reading, so I decided to try writing a story that i would love

Who is your favorite author and what is it that really strikes you about their work?

My favorite author on Wattpad is Explode and author in general is Susan Elizabeth Phillips both for the same reason. They write emotion really well, and put their main characters through the wringer before they're able to find their happy endings. I like when characters have to fight for the futures they want, it always holds my attention from the first word to the last.

What is your favourite theme/genre to write about?

My favorite genre to write about is romance because there are so many ways to twist love:)

Do you see writing as a career?

I don't see writing as a career but just as something I love to do when I can find the time. I in no way consider myself a professional at this...lol

If you could work with any author who would it be?

I'm not sure if I'd want to work with another author, just because the talent of some of the writers here on wattpad far surpasses mine and I'm not sure I'd be able to get past my awe of them to even hold up my end of the story....haha

Do you use real-life facts based on true stories?

I do use some real life facts, especially when my story involves cheating because unfortunately many of those close to me have been victims of cheating and I've been a solid shoulder to cry on for all of them, then they had to restrain me from going after the cheater with a baseball bat...just kidding but I did feel their pain and it tore my heart out right along with theirs and made for some good writing:)

Did you ever think you'd be, where you are right now?

When I posted my first story Heartbreak Before Love, I barely got any reads which made me doubt my writing abilities, but once I posted My Second Chance Mate, I caught tons of readers attention and my wattpad page blew up with fans, surprising me to no end. I never expected so many people to like my writing and am really humbled by all my amazing fans and their support.

What advice would you give to people who "run out of creativity" when writing?

For people who "run out of creativity" I would suggest taking a step back from your writing for awhile and just take a moment to look around you. You can find inspiration in every day situations and events. 

Do you ever suffer from writer’s block? If so, what do you do about it?

I suffer from writers block quite a bit and would suggest the same thing as the answer above and also suggest taking some time to see what other wattpad writers are writing, because many times while losing myself in another authors story, I was suddenly hit with the next chapter of my book, completely out of the blue. I think reading great writing inspires you to write great writing yourself.

Do you have any advice for other writers?

My advice for other writers is to always stay true to yourself and write what you want no matter what opinions others may have about it. Don't change where your story takes you because others don't like the direction it's going. Write what makes you happy and if others enjoy it as well that just makes your writing so much more worth it.

Anything fun about yourself you want your fans to know?

Something fun about me is also a little weird. Some of you may have heard of the hang loose sign or as we call it here in Hawaii the shaka sign. It's when you touch you pointer, middle, and ring finger to you palm as if making a fist while leaving your thumb and pinky extended. Well, I can make that sign with my toes on my right foot. It always makes people double over laughing when I show them. I can't do it on my left foot though, I tried and caught a major cramp in my toes...lol

How would you describe yourself?

I would describe myself as a happy and friendly person who holds my family very near and dear to my heart and spend every free moment I have with them. I enjoy meeting new people and trying new things. I'm just a local girl at heart who loves the beach, and bake as often as possible, I've got a major sweet tooth:)
