What is your name?

My name is Sian! It's Welsh so it's pronounced Sharn which people ALWAYS get wrong LOL

How old are you?

16 years old

What inspired you to write your first book?

Well, to be honest when I was 15 (which is when I started the book) I just had this REALLY weird obsession with angels because I'd started reading Hush, Hush and Fallen. And then I imagined characters and boom, Mark of A Fallen Angel came to mind :)

Who is your favorite author and what is it that really strikes you about their work?

Hmm... toughie, I love a romance writer called Rachel Gibson, her stories are wonderful and some even have deep back stories. But I do love Suzanne Collins and F. Scott Fitzgerald.

What is your favourite theme/genre to write about?

Romance, sometimes a bit of action, and a little humour.

Do you see writing as a career?

I'm heading down the University root for Graphic design but if I were to do writing as a career, it'd be a long shot and I'd do it as a hobby maybe when I'm older.

If you could work with any author who would it be?

Oh, goodness. I haven't a clue! If J.K Rowling was making another Harry Potter book I'd work with her!! Otherwise, I'd stick with Suzanne Collins or Lori Foster (another romance novelist).

Do you use real-life facts based on true stories?

On my first story, yes there were a few facts I grabbed from books on the belief of angels and the language but otherwise most of it is exaggerated.

Did you ever think you'd be, where you are right now?

Wow, I honestly didn't. I didn't think I'd have this much fans and I'm happy to have them. They're wonderful.

What advice would you give to people who "run out of creativity" when writing?

It's the worst thing to happen when you have the feeling you've, "run out of creativity." So I say, you take time off, don't think about it but relax without writing a thing. Although I say you're taking time off, in the back of your mind you'll still be subconsciously thinking about it and it will naturally come to you. 

Do you ever suffer from writer’s block? If so, what do you do about it?

Writers block, I've had it many times and at the worst of times too. I honestly stop writing for a while. I re-read everything I have written and I mean EVERYTHING and think of it in a reader’s point of view. Then I go ahead and throw ideas around. Helps me every time.

Do you have any advice for other writers?

Don't give up if you think you have absolutely nothing else to give. In the long run, something will pop up and give you inspiration. Everyday life had that influence.

Anything fun about yourself you want your fans to know?

FUN? Hmm... I'm a sucker for the gym.... HA, joking, gym once a week but I'm as active as ever. I have to be doing something or I just shut down completely LOL.

How would you describe yourself?

I'm a social freak; I'm still 16 so I can't help but go out EVERY weekend LOL. I'm shy at times but as soon as you've spoken to me, I can be as sarcastic/friendly/mad as you get :)
