Lilly is a really good writer. the first story that i read from her was The way i loved you and dude! that story is really interesting, it has a great plot, u'll get hooked from the beginning, she explains everything perfectly. i m sure u won't say a single time "what is this" or "i'm confused" once u start reading it,u won't stop until u have read the last chapter! :D it's a great story...this story has over 1,598,508 reads and she has overall 21,036 votes...she has a sequel to this story, Carry me home tonight(haha that reminds me of the song we are young) that story is as good as all of the others, i'm sure u'll love it :) i also read Be my superhero tonight, that story is quite interesting, i can't wait for her to upload next chapter :D so... read and vote for the interview :D

What is your name?

My name is Lilly Allen.

How old are you?

I am a teenager who loves to write.

What inspired you to write your first book?

I found Wattpad.com by accident and instantly fell in love with the site and the writers. And then I though to myself, well why can't I start to write? So I did, and to be honest I was not very good at all, and I still think today I have a long ways to go but I am much better than from where I had started.

Who is your favorite author and what is it that really strikes you about their work?

I love Lauren Oliver the writer of Before I Fall and Delirium, her writing is so breath taking, she writes in a way that sucks you so far in you forget that the story is just a story and you start to live in it.

What is your favourite theme/genre to write about?

I love romance, I think every book should have a little of it, but of course being a teenage girl I love a lot of it, and I love dystopian novels also, they take you to another world where you can create and build it yourself and I love that about them so they are super fun to write also.

Do you see writing as a career?

I hope to one day see writing as a career but for now it is just a hobby, but who knows right?

If you could work with any author who would it be?

If I could work with an author it would Lauren Oliver as for the reasons stated above she is just simply amazing!

Do you use real-life facts based on true stories?

Yes, I do use real facts in my stories, I use the names of my crushes in my stories, and how I felt about them, and how I almost wish we could've been together and then I play and spin that into a story, and I use the names of friends, family, and teachers also.

Did you ever think you'd be, where you are right now?

Haha, good question, and no I honestly did not think I would be here, I have been on Wattpad for almost 3 years now and I had people who liked my work but until I started writing The Way I Loved you I have never had such a rabid fan base before and that is when I truly fell in love with writing.

What advice would you give to people who "run out of creativity" when writing? Suffer from writer’s block?

Well advice for people who get stuck with writers block or creativity, cause don’t worry I do also, every one goes through that. People wonder why I take so long to upload sometimes, and that is because I may not know what to write next, and I just don’t slap together a piece of crap, pardon me. I read many different types of text, music which helps me through everything and is my savior, I listen to it for hours on end, finding music to inspire me, and then and only then do I finally let my fingers touch the keys on my board and type away.

Do you have any advice for other writers?

Keep true to who you are, don’t try to conform to what everyone else of Wattpad is writing. I honestly did do that with my 1st book and I don’t regret it but I wish I would’ve stuck more to my roots as a writer. But I do now and I don’t hold back anything I write what comes from my heart and I stuck it out and it may have taken three years but hey I am finally here with tons of people reading my books, and that is only because I wrote from my heart and let my fans cheer me along the rest of the way through.

Anything fun about yourself you want your fans to know?

Umm…fans I want you to know that I am officially obsessed with 1D (and if you don’t who that is then you live under a rock!) I have spent a total of seven hours watching any video of them I could find on the internet. And I also got bored today and wrote all over my foot but good news came up with a new story while doing it!

How would you describe yourself?

I describe myself as fun and outgoing, but most people would describe as loud, loud, loud, and loud, and the girl with the super loud sneeze, frizzy red hair who loves to laugh, and dances and skips through the halls with a slight sarcastic attitude at times. But me, I describe myself as fun and outgoing, though I appreciate what the rest of the world likes to tell me as well.
