Hindi ko na maintindihan ang sarili ko. It's been only three days since I've known Jionni and his friends but he can stir me this way already?

Hindi pwede 'to. It can't be Dee!

"Where are you going?"

"Kahit saan basta malayo sa'yo," sagot ko sa tanong niya. Bahala siya kung hindi niya maintindihan ang sinasabi ko. Mas maigi nga kung hindi niya maintindihan.

Nakakunot na ang noo niya nang lingunin ko siya. "Come again?"

See? Mas magandang wala siyang naiintindihan.

"I just said that I'm heading back to the hotel. You can go to wherever you wanted to go."

"I'm heading back to the hotel too. Let's just go together." Hindi ko na ikinagulat nang hawakan niya ang kamay ko habang naglalakad kami. It seemed like having our fingers filling each other's gaps is normal even if we knew that it isn't.

"Jionni, why are you doing this?"

"Doing what?"

"Nothing,"

Tumigil siya sa paglalakad dahilan para tumigil din ako. He stared at me impassively at nararamdaman kong konti na lang, maiilang na ako sa paraan ng pagtitig niya sa akin.

"I changed my mind. Let's head somewhere else." Hinawakan niya ang kaliwang kamay ko at hinatak ako papunta sa kung saan. Based sa direksyon, mukhang sa parking area niya ako dadalhin.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing?!" Sita ko sa kanya habang kinakaladkad ako papunta sa isang sasakyan. When we reached the car, napanganga ako sa nakita ko. It's a white lambhorghini!

This jerk is effin' rich!

Binuksan niya ang pinto ng sasakyan at minuwestrang sumakay ako. "Hop in."

"What if I don't?" I challenged him. Anong akala ng lalakeng 'to sasama na lang ako bigla sa kanya dahil gusto niya 'yun? Asa siya!

"I have my ways. After ten, if you're not yet inside my car, you'll see yourself inside my car whether you like it or not."

Hindi ako gumalaw mula sa kinatatayuan ko. I can't let this man order me around! Ilang beses na niya akong nauutakan. Hindi na niya ako mauutakan ulit.

"Ten..." He started counting while I'm still staring at him. I crossed my arms at my chest as I waited for him to complete his countdown. "Five..."

The heck?! Hindi ba marunong magbilang ang lalakeng 'to?! Mula ten bumaba diretso sa five?!

"Four... Three... I'm waiting Dee," he said.

"Don't you even know how to count?! What comes before ten?"

"Five," he answered back while wearing that poker face. "That's what I had learned in kindergarten."

It's obvious that he's bluffing! There's no way that teacher would teach him that five comes before ten!

Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin. "You really love making fun of me."

"Two..." Nanlaki ang mga mata ko nang bigla siyang lumuhod sa harap ko at akmang bubuhatin ako kaya pinigilan ko siya.

"YAH! YAH! Fine! Fine! I'll go with you!"

He stood up straight while wearing a triumphant smile on his face. I seriously want to rub that smile off his face! Seeing that smile annoys me.

Padabog akong sumakay sa sasakyan niya at isinuot ang seatbelt. After a short while, he hopped in and were already on the road off to wherever he wants to go.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"It's a surprise. I already called the guys and they're bringing Noelle with them and your other friend."

"Other friend?" Wala naman na kaming ibang kaibigang nandito. Si Noelle lang naman ang kaibigan ko.

"Yes. Noelle was with a friend when they asked her to go with them. Your other friend agreed to go with them."

Sino naman kaya yung kasama ni Noelle. Hindi man lang ako nasabihang may kaibigan pala kaming susunod dito sa Jeju.

I decided to call Noelle and ask her however, it was prevented by a hand.

"Don't call them anymore. They're heading to where we're going. Just ask them when they reached there."

"Okay," may point naman siya. Papunta na rin naman sila sa kung saan man kami pupunta. Doon ko na lang aalamin kung sino yung isa pa nilang kasama.

I busied myself on watching the view outside. Jeju is really a wonderful island. How I wish I could stay longer here.

"What are you doing for a living Dee?"

Napalingon ako sa kanya pero nakapako ang paningin niya sa kalsada. "I'm a creative director."

He made a quick glance at me. "Really? So, you write stories?"

I nodded. "Sometimes but most of the times, I brainstorm for ideas. How about you? What do you do in life?"

"I do business." He simply answered.

"What kind of business? Monkey business?" I joked.

"All sorts of business including the one you mentioned."

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa sinabi niya. He can't be serious right?!

And I believed that he's not serious when his loud laugh filled the car.

"You should have seen your face! It's hilarious!" He said in the middle of his laughters.

"Yeah right, have fun laughing at me."

Hindi ko alam kung gaano siya katagal na tumatawa nang dahil sa akin. Sa tuwing matitigil kasi siyang tumawa, lilingon siya sa akin tapos tatawa na naman siya ng malakas.

But as his laughter increases, I can't help but see Tanner laughing in him. Inalis ko na lang ang tingin ko sa kanya. I'm afraid that I might forget the reality that he's not Tanner if I continued looking at him.

Napakurap-kurap ako nang matanaw ko ang bundok na may mga taong nag-iiski pababa. I looked at Jionni who's just quietly driving on my side.

"Are we heading to a ski resort?"

He nodded, "yeah."

"Oh my god! Seriously?!"

He turned to me and I swear, he looked different when he saw my face. "You've already seen the ski resort from here. Isn't that enough to tell that we're heading there?"

"KYAAAAH!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as excitement filled my entire being! Noon ko pa gustong pumunta ng ski resort! I really wanted to try skiing!

He grinned, "who would have thought that ski resort would make you smile?" Naiiling na sabi niya na para bang hindi siya makapaniwalang nakapasimple lang ng bagay na makakapagpangiti sa akin.

Kahit na naiinis ako sa ngiti niya ngayon sa akin, I don't care. I'm going to ski later and that is enough to erase all the annoying feelings I have for him.

Ski and snow, here I come!
