After that weird encounter at the cafe, Noelle and I decided to head back to the hotel. Mukha rin kasing pagod na si Noelle dahil dumiretso kami doon pagkadating na pagkadating niya ng Jeju. We only had our dinner and went back to our respective rooms.

Nakahiga na ako sa kama and weirdly, hindi ako madapuan ng antok when usually, kapag ganitong pagod na pagod ako, nakakatulog ako agad.

For the nth time, pumasok na naman sa isip ko yung lalakeng kasama ni Yuji na si Jionni. Hindi ko alam kung nasobrahan lang ako sa pag-iisip o pagkamiss kay Tanner kaya I'm hearing his voice in him. I mean, marami namang tao sa mundo ang magkaboses 'di ba? Siguro coincidence lang na kaboses niya si Tanner.

Darn it Dee, sino bang niloloko mo? And why do I sounded like I'm convincing myself?

Argh! This is driving me crazy! Pakiramdam ko nagtataksil ako kay Tanner dahil hindi mawala sa isip ko yung Jionni.

Sana hindi ka magalit sa akin Tanner. Hindi ko rin talaga alam kung bakit hindi mawala sa isipan ko yung lalakeng 'yun. Tulungan mo naman ako oh.

I abruptly stood up and wore the most decent clothes I could grab nearest to me. Nagpatong lang din ako ng coat at lumabas na ng kwarto para maglakad-lakad. Hindi pa siguro ako masyadong pagod kaya kung anu-anong naiisip ko.

Nasa lobby na ako ng hotel when I saw Yuji seating on a couch together with three other men. They seemed to be engrossed on whatever they're talking. What surprises me even more is their attires. Are they some sort of businessmen and having their meeting at this time of the day? Is late night meetings even acceptable?

And why do you care so much Dee?

It felt like Yuji noticed me staring at them for quite long time. He motioned me to come close to them which made me reject the offer instantly. Bukod sa mga mukhang desenteng tao ang kaharap niya, I'm not wearing an appropriate attire to face those businessmen. I'm only wearing my pajamas beneath my coat! Nakakahiyang humarap sa kanila at sa mga kasama niya ng ganito ang suot ko.

I simply bowed at him and was about to walk away when he ran towards my direction. Hindi ko na naituloy ang plano kong umalis nang makalapit siya sa akin.

"Hey, you're staying in this hotel too. What a coincidence." He seems to be delighted of the news that we're staying at the same hotel. Who would have thought of it too?

"Yeah," I glanced at the men whom he suddenly left just to talk to me. "It seems like you're in an important meeting."

He glanced at the three men too then smirked at them. "Oh, they're my friends."

"Really? I thought they we're some sort of businessmen and you're on your late night meetings."

I was surprised when he suddenly held my wrist and pulled me towards the three men. "Come, I'll introduce them to you."

"W-What?! Wait..."

Wala na akong magawa nang mahatak niya ako sa harap ng mga kaibigan niya. All of them are wearing this weird smile that somehow crept the hell out of me. Sino bang hindi maweweirduhan kung titignan ka ng mga lalakeng hindi mo kilala with those weird smiles on their face?

"Men, meet Dee. She's the one we've been talking about." I don't know if it's just me o talagang may pagkakadiin yung pagkakasabi niya ng salitang one na para bang may pinapahiwatig siya.

Unang tumayo yung lalakeng may singkit na mata. He offered his hands to me as he introduced himself. "Hi Dee, I'm Duyi. Nice meeting you."

Duyi? What a weird name. No offense meant though.

I shook his hands and the man beside him stood up too. Based on his stance, he already gave me his impression that he's the happy-go-lucky one in this group. Sa pagkakangiti pa lang niya, he's already a charmer. "I'm Shing."

Seriously? Shing? Ano yun? Eh di shing?! Ganun?

I accepted his hands and was expecting that he'll shook it too just like Duyi but he didn't. Instead, he bowed down and kissed the back of my hand. Muntik ko na siyang masampal kung hindi ko napigilan ang sarili ko. I'm not really fond of such gestures. Only Tanner had touched me in such a manner. Kung hindi lang talaga rude ang manampal sa ibang bansa, I would've done it with him.

I turned to the guy who remained sitting on his seat while his friends we're busy introducing themselves with me. Siya ba si Jionni?

"Hey man," tinapik ni Yuji ang balikat noong lalakeng nakaupo. "Introduce yourself man! Come on. Don't be such an ass to the lady."

Napalunok ako nang samaan niya ng tingin si Yuji. This man seems to be not in the mood for any introduction.

"You're going to pay for this man." He answered back in a low voice.

Upon hearing his voice, I immediately knew that he's not Jionni. Masyadong mababa ang boses niya para maging si Jionni. Kaboses ni Jionni si Tanner at ang layo ng boses nila sa isa't-isa.

So, hindi kasama ni Yuji si Jionni. Nasaan kaya siya?

God, nababaliw na ba ako? Bakit ko hinahanap ang lalakeng iyon?

Hinawakan ko sa braso si Yuji. "Hey, you don't have to ask him to introduce himself to me if he doesn't want to. I'm sure--"

"I'm Lei," he abruptly said. I was surprised with the sudden and surprise not so well introduction of himself. Though he didn't offered his hands for a handshake, it was fine. Hindi siguro siya komportable na nakikipag-usap sa taong hindi niya kilala.

I timidly smiled at them, "nice meeting you guys. I'll go ahead. I think I'm interrupting you on something."

"Where are you going?" Duyi asked.

"I'll just take a stroll at the garden. I'm having a hard time sleeping." I explained.

"Garden?" Shing asked as if he's confirming if I'm really going there. I nodded as a response. Upon seeing my response, their eyes shone brightly for an unknown reason.

"Why guys? Is there something wrong?"

Nagulat ako nang sabay-sabay silang umiling kasabay ng pagwagayway ng mga kamay nila sa harap ko. "Nothing, nothing. You can go to the garden now. We're still talking about something now."

Mas lalo akong nagtaka nang halos itulak ako ni Shing papunta ng garden. Kanina lang, they looked like as if they wanted me to stay tapos ngayon mukhang tinataboy naman nila ako. Mukhang naabala ko nga sila kung talagang tinataboy nila ako.

"Alright. See you around." I bowed at them and walked towards the garden.

Papalabas pa lang ako ng pinto nang marinig kong sumigaw si Shing. "MASAYA 'TO!"

Hala?! Pilipino sila?!
