🎃Jonah - Happy Halloween🎃

Halloween is tomorrow and I should be happy about it. But I can't hide it. I will celebrate Halloween all alone and probably do nothing. I can't go back to my hometown in Philly because I don't have enough time. My family can't fly to LA because they are too busy. My friends are all celebrating with their own family. Then I remember Jonah. Having his face on my mind can light up my mood. Without any hesitation, I call him. He pick up on the first ring.

"Hey, what's up, babe. I was about to call you" he chuckled.

I laugh at him.

"I was wondering, can you spend the Halloween with me?" I smile at myself but soon, it disappear because Jonah didn't answer my question.
"If you don't have anything else to do of course" I added.
"Um I hope I can. But I'll be going back to Minnesota tomorrow" he sigh.
"Well ok then. I'll celebrate it by myself" I said barely audible.
"I'm sorry, baby. I promise I'll make it up" he said.
"It's ok. Got to go. Bye" I try to sound happy.
"Ok. Bye" then he hung up.

I just go to my bed and try to sleep even it's still 8. Thinking that tomorrow I'll be alone celebrating Halloween make me sad. Maybe I'll just watch movie and being lazy. By those thoughts, I slowly drift to sleep.

I woken up by the ring from my phone. I take it and see that Jonah is calling me. I pick it up.

"Why so morning, babe" I said in raspy voice.
"Yo it's 9. Get your ass up, you lazy" he laugh.

I roll my eyes even I know he can't see me.

"Happy Halloween, babe. I wish you're here with me right now" he said.
"Happy Halloween too. Yeah me too. It sucks you know" I sigh.
"Cheer up, baby. Be happy!" I hear he's screaming on the other side, caused me laugh.

We talk a bit but then he have to go. As he ended the call, I get up and have a shower. I feel super lazy today. So I just put a loose t-shirt and sweatpants. I just eat cereals for breakfast and grab my laptop, doing some works.

I look at the time, it's already 12. Dang, these works took much time to finish it. I decided to go back to my bed and watch a movie. I pick up a random movie to watch.

I woken up by the bell of my apartment. I didn't remember that I feel asleep. I quickly get up, fix my appearance and open the door. I'm wondering who is it. Someone visit me at 7.30, that's unusual.

"Trick or treat!" the figure who's standing in front of my door smirking.
"OMG, Jonah! What are you doing here?" I greet him with a huge hug.
"Because I don't want my love spend her Halloween day alone" he said as he plant some kisses on my forehead.
"But you said you're back to Minnesota" I look at him confused.
"That's called trick" he wink.
"Oh also I bring some food for us" he said as he pick some paper bags and walk in.

I follow him to the kitchen and prepare the food for us. We take a seat face to face and start to eat our food. We also talk and joking around.

"Babe, you know what" Jonah take my hand.
"What?" I raise my eyebrow
"Omelette you in on a secret. You and I would brie perfectly gouda. Life would be feta if we were togetha. We'll be grate" a huge grin decorate his face.
"Gosh, Jonah. Why are you so cheesy" I laugh at his pick up line.
"I don't know. Because you're a peanut butter jelly" he smirk again.
"And what's that means?" I laugh because already knowing he will say those unmake sense stuff.
"Because you make my legs like a jelly"

I burst into laugh and even Jonah, he's laughing at his own joke.

"What will we do after this?" I said once we're done laughing.
"How about scary movie marathon and cuddle?" he whispered the last part.

I squeal like a little kid, agreeing.

We went to my bedroom. I grab some snacks while Jonah set up the movie. When I got in, the lights already off and I see he already laying on my bed, giving enough space for me. I position myself beside him. Immediately a pair of arms wrap my body, pulling me closer to him.

I can watch horror movie, but I'll always get scared. Every time the scene is scary, I hide into Jonah's chest which he gladly let me do it. He hold my hand tightly on the whole movie. Sometimes, his other hand travel my hair, stroke it gently. I really love this boy. This is the best way to spend my Halloween Day.
