Jack - I'm not the only one

I was hanging out with the boys in Beverly Center, but Zach coulnd't join us because he went back to Texas. We were heading out from H&M when Jonah shouted, drawing our attention.

"Why he looks like Zach?!"

"OMG. He looks just the same. This is mind blowing. Can it be Zach?" Corbyn looked amazed.

"No way. Bro. Zach is 1.4 miles away from us" Daniel shook his head.

I look at the same direction as them. And they're right. A man who looks really alike with Zach was walking with a girl. He put his hand around the girl's waist tightly and kiss her cheek but then lips. Maybe we're few meters away from him but, my eyes can't be wrong. He has the exact same hair, same height, same appearance, even same style. But is he Zach? Ugh... I hope Jack is here, he knows Zach better than anyone.

"Wait. Where is Jack?" Daniel asked, like he can read my mind.

"He went to toilet right before we got out H&M" I answer him.

We saw Corbyn already made his way to Zach's twins, so we just followed him.

"Yo, Zach!" Corbyn shout, making Zach's twins look at him.

Then Zach's twins's expression hit me. He look shocked yet scared. He is Zach. He is Zachary Dean Herron. He is my boyfriend that wrapped his hand around another girl's waist. He cheated on me. I've been chested. I feel tears could spill out anytime. Then a hand wrap my shoulder, pulling me closer. I look up, it's Jonah. He know the situation, he understand my feeling. He know I'm hurt.

"What are you doing here, man? And with... Ass Pain (eh I mean Aspen😂)?" Daniel furrowed his eyebrows.

"I... uh.. um.. I" Zach lost his word.

"Why did you lie to us? Lie to me?" I said in shaking voice.

He look at me, but then he look down. He didn't answer my question. Neither of us know what to say.

"Zach... I thought I'm your girlfriend. But guess, I'm not the only one" that's all I could say before my tears start running down on my cheeks slowly. I shouldn't cry, not in front of him. He's not worth of my tears. I get out from from Jonah's embrace and run away from them.

"No, Angela, wait!" Zach called me. But I don't care, I keep running. He broke my heart.

I hear a pair of foot step behind me, chasing me. I tried to run faster but, it's faster. In no seconds, a pair of hand hug me tightly. I fight, try to get out from the hug.

"Sshhh. Don't run" Jack whispered.

"I'm here" he tighten his hug.

I stop fighting him, it's no use. I just give it up. I broke down into tears, but he catch me. I feel in his chest. He just hug me tightly and caress my back. I feel safe inside his hug. He rest his chin on my head softly.

"He broke my heart, Jack. He cheated on me. With ass pain" I said still sobbing.

"Ssh... He doesn't deserve you. I'm sorry. Don't cry again, baby" he said he let go his hug. He grab my hand and pull me to the nearest cafe and take a seat.

He look me in the eyes. Tears still flowing from my eyes. I tried to stop it but I can't. he hold my hand while his other hand brush off my tears from my face. I just look down, looking at how our hand intertwined. Then his hand grab my chin gently, making me look up. I look everywhere but his eyes.

"Angela, look at me" he said softly.

I bit my lips nervously, but then I look at him.

"I'm sorry you have to through this. I can't believe he did that to you. He doesn't deserve you. You're an amazing person and he treated you like a shit" when he said that, I can see anger in his eyes.

"I... I don't know, Jack. Maybe I'm a piece if shit" I cry again.

"No you're not. Don't say that! Please don't cry. I can't stand seeing you cry" he said, wiping my cheeks.

"No one love me, Jack" I said beyond whispered.

"I love you" he said.

"And when I say it, I mean it" he said in serious tone.

I look at him, shocked. What did he just say?

"Yes, Angela. I love you. More than friends.I have always waited for you to broke up with Zach. I know it sounds rude but trust me, Zach is not as nice as he looks. He doesn't deserve you. And I'm right. He broke your heart. He hurt you" Once he finish talk, his face come closer to mine.

"Will you be mine? I'll fix you from the pain that Zach made" he whispered.

I lost in his brown eyes that full of warmth. Without any hesitation, our lips meet. Fireworks explode inside my stomach. It just feels right.

"Jack, thank you" I said as we pull out.
