Chapter 60: Vindicated

I learned from Kouji ajhussi that the pendant contains dangerous and useful files that are what the Insignia want from the very start. It can only by a device that father hid, even Kouji ajhussi didn't know that kind of information. While scanning the pendant, I notice that something is engraved on its side. There are letters and numbers on it. When I check it to Kouji ajhussi, he said that it could be a pass code or something like that.

"Is there you can think what these letters and numbers are ajhussi?"

"Not that I know of? But it's familiar to me, I can't think where did I saw something like that." He said. I tried to think where could be these pass code are, but it's not like a pass code to me, something that could be retrieve to a safe. Safe? That's it! Why didn't I think of that? I think I know where could be something like that held without suspicion of someone. And besides, without the pass code, they could never retrieve it.

"Ajhussi, I think where could the device can be."

"Is it? Then, let's go retrieve it." Kouji ajhussi and I went to the Seoul National Bank. The attendant asked us, I give her a piece of paper where I wrote down the pass code.

"Could it be a pass code to your safe?" I asked the attendant who scan the small paper.

"Let me get our manager, please excuse us a bit." We waited for a minute when the manager of the bank arrived.

"Are you the one who will retrieve from our safe?" Bingo! As I thought, this is where appa hide the device.

"Yes, please." Kouji ajhussi answered on my behalf. The bank manager led us to the furthermost hallway and to the room adjacent to it.

"May we inspect the key with the engraved pass code on it?" He asked. I pull out the pendant from my necklace and give it to him. He went out of the room while we waited for few minutes to his comeback.

"I examined it for a while, may I know who is the owner of the pendant?"

"It's me."

"And what is your relationship with the owner?"

"He's my father."

"Well then, I will lead you the way." The way where the safe is a lot further from the way I thought. With the use of elevator that lead us on the underground tunnel of the bank.

We stop infront of a huge vault door. The bank manager enter his pass code and place his hand on the biometric scanner, then the door produce a metal crashing sound. A few seconds have pass and the door shot open. We went inside that leads us to an empty dome.

"Is this where the safe is?" Kouji ajhussi questioned on my behalf curiosity.

"Yes, may I have the key?" I handed him again the pendant and went to the computer install in the center of the room. I scan keenly on the room while the bank manager scans the pendant when I notice that there are engrave on the walls.

"It looks empty, but it is where we place the safe, those engraved on the wall are the pass codes of every safe. And in order to reveal the slot that will fit the key we have to scan it first." The bank manager explained. After a minute, he handed me the pendant and a small part of the wall emerge like a drawer.

"You may put the key on the keyhole and retrieve what is inside the safe." He instructed. I went closer to the drawer and stuck in the pendant on the keyhole. Then, a small-like door slide open and a device come into view. It is small like the size of a cellphone in pure black color and silver linings on the side. I grab the device and put in my pocket.
