Chapter 6: Misunderstandings

(Alexis' POV) 

"What are you all doing here?" Sho senpai asked.

"And what are you all doing here?" Meter senpai scoffed back to the question. We are currently at the park in the heart of Tokyo after we lost sight of the two we are following.

"We are just stalking Kaname, that's all." Sho senpai commented.

"Ah! You are also stalking the two, weren't you!?" Ayaka bushed with her big mouth that uncover out secret. Well it will uncover soon enough.

"Then, are you stalking the two, huh?" Yuji-san said.

"We are in the same boat, I guess." Meter senpai said.

"I guess so. Then, what did you get?"

"The same thing we are thinking. I guess it getting so complicated this time."

"Is that it? We don't have the right to jump in to their family business, even though we'd like to help."

"You're right. We can't do anything." Meter senpai make a deep sigh out of frustration. The atmosphere become so quiet by the time being reflecting on what just happened. I was the first one to break to silence.

"What exactly did happen to them?"

(Kannon's POV) 

Kaname followed me to the stall I always visits. He held my hand and led me to the park we always go and play when we are still children. The park was still the same, the vendor of the cotton candies and the balloon vendor were there, and even the ice cream vendor was never change as time passed by. Kaname take out his wallet and buy 2 chocolate ice creams, 2 cotton candies and 2 balloons as he always do whenever we play here or to waste our time.

"Why are you doing these Kaname?" I asked him at of the blue, while he interlocks our hands strolling the pave way of the park with lots of people making their time useful with their own activities. His palm I never get to feel it's warm for a few years and now I hardly miss. It's warmness never left my hand and continue to feed a different sensation. In addition, this feeling never left my heart that gives happiness.

"Why do you ask that? Isn't it obvious?" He replied.

"That you are just doing this is because of my grandpa told you?"

"Are you still thinking that?" He heave a deep sigh out of frustration. "What else do you want me to think?" He suddenly stop and with his unyielding smirk came to face me.

"It's not that what your grandfather commanded. I like you, since we were kids." His smirk becomes a genuine smile that never failed to melt my heart every time he makes that expression in front of me.

The first time I met him, it was my 8th birthday, when my parents are still together. They held a big celebration in one of the Mizuki's famous restaurant and they treated me at the park. I saw him alone in the park starring at the flowers. I was mesmerized by the way, he acted, and I thought he was gay, playing with the flowers. But with that expression on his face changed my mind. His eyes don't lay on the flowers alone, or should I say it was not on the flowers. It was as if his eyes were painted in pain. I bought ice cream, cotton candy and balloon in the park's vendors. I was courageous at that time to approach him.

"Here" I said to him. Then he suddenly turned his head and stare at me without changing his expression, but he remained silent just staring at me. I pulled my hand to hand him what I was holding.

"Here, it's for you. Take it" I replied to his anxious expression.

"Why?" he asked for the first time.
